Bull Run: A Sealed Event

Greetings everyone and welcome to another GU posting! Today I'm going to talk about my experience with GU's recent sealed event called the "Bull Run" sealed event where sealed runs were priced at 5 Gods (Normally 10) and had different Gods payout per win than normal (Details here). For getting 7 wins and submitting a screenshot in the discord you would also get the "bull runner tag" in their discord and be eligible for raffles and giveaways. The community manager is spread pretty thin across multiple projects so they weren't able to get to everybody but it's a nice though none the less.

Sealed: A FUN GU Experience

Sealed was very fun to play through to get the 7 wins required for the event title. Some runs felt very deterministic and carried by cards like obelisk, ballistia etc. that had continual value per turn or required removal past packline. There were a plethora of spot/wide removals, however a lot of pools would really hurt if you didn't get some sort of wide answers to things outside of more aggroy pools. 5 gods was a price I felt was good, I would do at least one or two sealed runs a day at that price. Whereas 10 felt a bit high when I could be getting a few new cards to fill out my collection at that price.

Talking Tidbits: Manpower?

The one thing I noticed about this event was various people had to tag the community manager to receive the tag after they submitted said screenshot, REPEATEDLY. Many people weren't even given the tag etc. and had to hound the community manager to get it fixed (if they would be so lucky) the idea behind the event was nice but the manpower available to actually check the screenshots and rightclick on a person in discord and hit "add role" weren't available I guess. I know the community manager is spread pretty thin, but if things are spread that thin maybe ask for volunteer help or something idk. Still, was fun to play sealed at a more accessible price and it was cool for them to attempt raffles and stuff I guess. Thanks for the continued support everyone in all the ways you show it.
