Serenity Awaits: Exploring Landthai Hills, Lantay, Bohol

A God-given opportunity once again — this was my third time at Landthai Hills.

Far away from any toxic surroundings, it’s a peaceful place with no noisy echoes, perfect for a relaxing moment at the top. The walk from the bottom to the summit was exhausting, but every step was worth it. There’s truly nothing like the beauty of nature and the amazing creation of our Almighty God.

This is one of the breathtaking views you can see and truly appreciate.

This is the entrance to what we call Landthai Hills. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the bottom up to this entrance area.

This is the Vego and Felicia families. The girl with the unique black-and-white hair is the second child of our Senior Pastor, married to a Norwegian. They have three wonderful kids, each with their own personality — all adorable when in a good mood 😄 (the youngest isn’t visible here, hiding behind his mother).

Meet the three little Musketeers from Norway! 😄 I always call them himossshhhh, which means “cute” in English. They’re all so handsome and adorable, and many people say the eldest is especially good-looking 😎

I captured beautiful photos and shared wonderful moments with the Vego and Felicia families. Here at Landthai Hills, you can sit back and relax anywhere, and the surrounding views will truly amaze you. It’s a place where memories are made and peace can be felt in every corner.

They also have a swimming pool — and you know what makes it unique? There’s no chlorine! It’s filled with natural spring water, which makes it super cold, especially in the evening.

I remember when we had a youth camping fellowship overnight here. Pastor Jose’s grandsons were so excited about the pool that right after we arrived and had lunch, they immediately jumped in! 😂 You know kids — full of energy and always ready for fun 😊

Overall, my time at Landthai Hills was truly a blessing. From the peaceful views and refreshing spring water to the joyful laughter of the kids, every moment was worth remembering. It reminded me to slow down, appreciate nature, and cherish the simple yet meaningful times spent with wonderful people. Indeed, it was another God-given opportunity I will always treasure.
