It was quite a sunny day today. I went out on the balcony before 7 AM, but the sun was already shining brightly. I took some photos while my mom and Arashi were getting some sunlight. It's part of their morning routine. And after that, we'd all go to the back of the house, and I'd run around with Arashi since it's spacious there before I prepare everyone's coffee or tea for breakfast.

I decided to take the morning off because I needed to sort out some things from the flooded house and help Mama with some tasks.
My father went to get more of our things from our house so we could sort out what we can still use and what we can't. Among the things he brought was another organizer I placed on my desk. It contains most of my sketchbooks, bond paper, and printed notes for Japanese studies.
None of the papers or notes can be saved. I also had to throw out some big notebooks and most of my sketchbooks. The smaller ones I placed above, including a set of 10 x 10 cm watercolor paper (which was my extra), were all good.
As for the paintings I did on some watercolor pads and canvas pads, some of them were not that damaged, so I decided to take them out from the pad and dry them in the sun.
There aren't many of them, but some of my favorites were OK, like my grandpa's portrait, the angel, and the winter sunset.
I also had to disassemble the organizer to clean it thoroughly. However, my mom was still using the water in the house (the water supply is still not enough, so we can only use one faucet at a time), so my father told me just to leave the pieces in the back and he'd clean them later.

There were some empty pages of the canvas pad that got a bit dirty, but I thought they were still usable, so I handwashed them and let them dry. I got four A4 ones and three A5 ones. :)
After doing my tasks, I helped my mom segregate some clothes my father brought from our place... some weren't damaged, so we can have them washed, but others were to be thrown away.
After lunch, I relaxed for a bit... then worked.

I don't know why, but the majority of my students today were Koreans. I wonder about tonight... I'm going to open a few more classes after dinner, then go to bed. I have an early class tomorrow, but I'm done preparing the material earlier this afternoon. :)
So yeah, my Sunday isn't officially finished yet. So yeah, I had quite a busy and tiring weekend, but I hope everyone had a lovely one! For those living on the opposite side of the world, enjoy your Sunday!
I'll end this post here. See you around! (^^,)/
