Unleashing My Inner Goddess: What Makes Me The Woman I Am

Three days ago was my birthday and some friends stopped by to give me a surprise party I never expected. Every session of the party was exciting and beautiful for me but the most memorable part has to be when everyone of them were asked to say what they think, like or dislike about the celebrant, "who they think I am".

I don't know about how others feel about a session like this but I thought of it less than I later realized it to mean for me. I know we are advice not to worry much about what others say, they are not always true but we can not ignore the fact that people are the mirrors for who we are on the outside and we know our inner selves.

I know the prompt question is asking in regards to my personal thoughts on what I think are my womanly charms that makes me attractive and confident. Well, most of what I'll say have been rightly judged by people who know me for a long time. I think it takes a lot for others to know who you really are and one of them is being yourself.

I may not have grown up with all the love from both parents but my dad did so much in that regard, I may not look so attractive physically and I may seem like I don't have the perfect female figure but somehow, this is no more a factor for me to feel less of myself unlike years ago when I thought they were all I needed that I didn't have.

Without being told now, I know I am beautiful, attractive and confident in myself but one of the many things that make me feel that way is "Receiving genuine compliments and appreciation". Too bad, we can't always tell when someone is being genuine with their words but my self confidence plays and I take the positives.

Loving myself and accepting who I am all the time is my charm. I don't try to blame the world (everyone or anyone) about my mistakes or what have gone wrong in my life, I think that is something someone can find attractive about me, it is a charm I keep building. I'm unique in my own ways and I don't mind only I knowing that.

Engaging in activities that brings me joy and sense of fulfillment makes me feel like a goddess too. I mean, we all know how hard life can be on everyone of us, how difficult it is to stay disciplined and have fun sometime. Because I can do all that without struggling with my mental self and asking for help when I can't, I'm woman.

Feeling womanly, attractive and confident is an everyday thing for me but I believe the major reason I feel that way is because of my foundation as a mother figure, a loving sibling and a good friend to the few I've drawn closer. I have learned that the physical appearance has a little to do with who I really am as a woman.
