Normally, almost everyone would jubilate on knowing that it's a Friday (that was yesterday) but I had nothing much to do this week but just a few engagements so it wasn't really a TGIF hyping from my end but I had planned on visiting one or two friends to spend my Saturday and then go to church on Sunday to end my weekend but then, you would agree with me that men proposes but God disposes and that some plans would not just work out even if you try so hard to make it work cos that's the case of my weekend taking a new turnaround entirely😌.
Before I dived in to that, let me say this that I wholeheartedly picked this topic of making a stick drawing to explain my ideal weekend because for the past years that I've been into art, I don't think I've ever tried out stick drawing (That's so odd 😂 right? Probably because it's not the line of art I chose to work in, I can't really say though). So, on seeing the topic, I was like No! I'm doing this and let me see how it turns out to be 😅 and apparently, the topic aligns with my proposed contents to share on here. My goodness😄 All thanks to weekend experiences community for bringing on this topic, seriously.
Back to where I left my pen. So, from midnight from the hour of let's say 3:40am, this heavy rain started. It was pouring so heavily that at the time the thunderstorm ⛈️ strikes, My God 🥶 I thought an earthquake happened (God forbid though) but that's the extent at which it was strong cos even my ears rang a deep bell for some seconds like someone who received a dirty slap before they could come out clear again. It kept on falling and stopping up till around 10am at daybreak and I thought it was the end of it already. Unknowing to me that I was only deceiving myself 😀 cos it was a situation of when you have 2 rams fighting and the two had to take steps backwards to take powerful and strong strikes against the other party 💭🤔 exactly what you're thinking right now.
I quickly dressed up to step out so I can head to my planned places but on taking a 2-3mins walk, the cloud was getting dark again and whoops 🌧️ it started falling heavily again that I got so wet and regretted I left home stubbornly🤦.
I came back home, feeling down that I couldn't proceed with my plans. I prepared a hot cup of tea for myself to at least warm up the cold I had exposed myself to few minutes ago and before I knew it, my eyes were already saying the Lord's prayer, closing and opening like the windscreen wiper of a vehicle 😂. I had no option but to obey the Clarion call of the nature.
I slept and had a good and cool sleep but the tapeworms protested against my darling sleep that they were ready to embark on a war if I refuse to stand up and address their needs. Sluggishly, I stood up, went to the kitchen to prepare what to eat and filled my stomach till my mouth wants no more for the moment (You're thinking I'm a foodie 😉 whatever😜😎) At least no tapeworm should disturb me till night comes. Not in this economy should any tapeworm expect to see a 1-1-1 daily eating formula😁.
After which I took my phone and started surfing the internet, exploring more on the Hive community and then I saw that there are topics to write on in the Weekend experiences community which I took on with my full chest 😁.
So far, that's how my ideal weekend went or is going. Hopefully a good mood-lifting situation may arise that would break the chain of bed-to-bed stick drawing that I made since I'm not close to where my art tools are for me to try out something but whatever the case may be, I should be able to update you all at the end of the weekend in another post.
THANK YOU FOR READING TO THE LAST LINE.I HOPE IT WASN'T BORING READING THROUGH🙈🤗 AND I HOPE MY STICK DRAWING DIDN'T INFECT YOUR EYES😄.
