During the time I was an employee, there was a time when we had a workshop for different departments in the health sectors/ministry from each state in Nigeria, which is 36 states but unfortunately all couldn't make it but still, we had the commissioner for health of a state available and the other one for osun state was represented by an official.
Aside the whole workshop been planned on as the administrative and financial manager, working with other team members to make the whole program a success with no loopholes or at minimal level, the workshop was one of the best time I had this year without paying for it aside my mental hardwork.

Firstly we were lodged in Eko hotels and suites which is one of the best 5⭐ hotels in Lagos and I think that was my third time stepping in there for either lodging or having an official meeting. The workshop was meant to hold in one of their halls so it was the best option to lodge everyone there and we were lodged in Eko gardens.
Each day, we have our meal tickets for breakfast, lunch and dinner of which with each ticket, you can eat as much as you can take in. Only that you are not allowed to take anything out of the restaurant.

I remember the first night when we had dinner, a colleague ate and ate and ensured that he tasted all food displayed when we were trying to compose and maintain our steeze. Fortunately Unfortunately, We followed in his shoes the next day since it was a 3-day workshop and we also ate and ate different meals, then had rabbit and chicken peppersoup, after which we had desert of different kinds to digest the food we ate and took apples home (I guess they allow the taking out of reasonable fruits).
I remember having digestion problem that night because of all I ate and I vowed never to try such till we leave.
So the next day which was the last day, we had our breakfast which I couldn't take much because I had to purge all through the night and I was still weak and feeling somehow, went for the workshop for our final lectures, trainings and awarding the attendees, had our brunch, resumed to workshop and after the whole thing we took pictures of which the whole program ended up looking like we shouldn't end it anymore.

I had my close colleagues who were the frontline workers of the project just like front-end developers, and the rest of the team like backend developers who worked fervently and received accolades for it respectively so it really ended well..
We went for the last dinner and this time I decided not to go back to my vomit again but I would be tasting all delicacies in a very small quantity so I don't have the same issue as the previous night because not tasting them is like I'm crucifying my tapeworms who have been grumbling on seeing the menu.

I had my picks of the delicacies, had roasted meats, desserts and my close colleagues and I had a fun night to round up by ending up at the pool side which had a beautiful sight and atmosphere. After which we moved over to where our US partners were sitted to keep their company. They got us juice and as we talk, laugh and have fun, we sip our juices cos we don't wanna sin no more, lol.
Then boom! The following morning came and we had to check out before 12noon with all of our guests returning back to their states. Those who returned through air and those who returned by road.
Thus, I had the fun of my life without spending a dime. I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here on the Weekend Experiences community prompt
