Neue Hinweise, dass die Tesla Optimus-Roboter, die beim "We, Robot"-Event präsentiert wurden, in Wirklichkeit von Menschen ferngesteuert wurden inkl. deren Stimme.

Ein Gast fragt einen Roboter, der an der Bar arbeitet und Getränke ausschenkt, ob er fern-gesteuert werde, und dieser gibt zu, wörtlich "von einem Menschen unterstützt" zu werden.

Die Antwort klingt ebenfalls so, als würde sie nicht von einer LLM, sondern von einem Menschen kommen, der den Roboter steuert.

Ein Video von Tesla zeigt auch generell, wie die Roboter mit einem VR-Headset und einem speziellen Anzug "ferngesteuert" bzw. trainiert werden können.

Ich denke, man hätte das bei der Demo klarer kommunizieren müssen, dass die Roboter ferngesteuert sind, falls sie es tatsächlich waren. Alleine das wäre schon beeindruckend genug gewesen, aber so sieht es eher aus, als wollte man schummeln, damit die Technologie fortgeschrittener wirke, als sie tatsächlich ist.

Und wieder verspricht Elon Musk in seiner "We, Robot"-Keynote "Full Self Driving" in einem Jahr. Diesmal fügte er noch hinzu "unsupervised" Full Self Driving. Diese Versprechen gibt es jedes Jahr seit mindestens 2019.

In der Realität ist "Full Self Driving" aber eher ein Level-2-Assistenzsystem, das die ständige Aufmerksamkeit und das Einschreiten des Fahrers erfordert.

Was sagt ihr dazu? Denkt ihr, dass Tesla bei der Präsentation geschummelt hat? Kommt "Full Self Driving" und Robo-Taxi in einem Jahr wirklich?

New evidence has emerged that the Tesla Optimus bar robots presented at the ‘We, Robot’ event were in fact remote-controlled by humans, including their voice.

A guest asks a robot working at the bar and serving drinks whether it is remote-controlled, and it admits to being "assisted by a human’"

The answer also sounds as if it is not coming from an LLM, but rather from a human controlling the robot.

A video from Tesla also shows in general how the robots could be "remotely controlled" or trained using a VR headset and a special suit.

I think they should have communicated more clearly during the demo that the robots are remote-controlled if so. That alone would have been impressive enough, but it looks more like they were trying to cheat to make the technology look more advanced than it actually is.

And again, Elon Musk promises "Full Self Driving" in a year in his "We, Robot" keynote speech. This time he added "unsupervised" Full Self Driving. These promises have been made every year since at least 2019.

In reality, however, "Full Self Driving" is more of a level 2 assistance system that requires the driver's constant attention and intervention.
