Trump hat seine Meinung zu Bitcoin verglichen zu 2019 um 180-Grad geändert, was aber mittlerweile glaubwürdig ist, da er selber bereits NFT-Projekte forcierte und seit Mai auch Spenden in Krypto akzeptiert.
Noch einen Schritt weiter geht der unabhängige Kandidat Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK). Er würde eine Executive Order erlassen, damit die USA jeden Tag 550 Bitcoin im Wert von zig Millionen Dollar kauft, bis die USA 4 Millionen Bitcoin als Reserve aufgebaut hat.
Denke, wenn nicht noch ein Attentat dazwischenkommt, könnte Trump tatsächlich wieder Präsident werden.

Donald Trump gave a very strong speech, was well prepared and inspired the audience, and managed to present himself as an anti-establishment and pro-Bitcoin candidate.
Trump has changed his opinion on Bitcoin by 180 degrees compared to 2019, but this is now credible as he has already been releasing NFT projects in the meantime and has been accepting donations in crypto since May.
The independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK) goes even one step further. He would issue an executive order to buy 550 Bitcoin worth tens of millions of dollars every day until the US has built up 4 million Bitcoin as a reserve.
I think that, barring another assassination attempt, Trump is likely going to become president again.

Trump's shift from being anti-Bitcoin to pro-Bitcoin is interesting at least it shows how politics can adapt to new trends.
I think that it's good news for the crypto space, but I still think it's far from reaching a reserve currency status. The establishment won't be so accepting of it even if they consider it a good asset.

As a non American, I would like Trump to win just because I think it would benefit cryptocurrenices the best.
Trump says a lot when the day is long and his statements are usually imprecise and in many cases he tends to say what the respective audience wants to hear, since it is primarily about either attracting voters and/or winning over influential donors.
In any case, Bitcoin will play no essential role as the world's currency reserve at least for the nearer future. That becomes apparent when you look at the numbers.
The current total value of all Bitcoins, also known as market capitalization, is approximately $1.32 trillion.
The total value of all Gold in circulation has a total value of approximately $12.5 trillion - with the current value of the world's gold reserves, which are about 35,939 tons, being about $2.2 trillion.
The combined foreign reserves of all countries worldwide are approximately $12 trillion with the US dollar's share of global foreign exchange reserves accounting for approximately 59.53%.
If the USA were to force the replacement of USD with cryptocurrencies, it would weaken the dollar because demand would decline (USD would be sold in favor of cryptocurrencies), and the financial market would become very unstable as the prices of cryptocurrencies fluctuate very strongly. Regulatory uncertainties and the lack of widespread acceptance also speak against this. Safety concerns also play a role.
Good points, I think if Bitcoin is slowly adopted as a national reserve currency, it will become less and less volatile over time, similar to gold nowadays. We also see this development already, Bitcoin is far less volatile than 1 or 2 cycles before.
Mr. Trump changes his mind more often than his underwear. But if it is personally beneficial to him for the US to adopt cryptocurrencies, he may be serious.

Bei Trump kann ich mir gut vorstellen, dass er inzwischen selber welche besitzt und damit nur den Wert dieser steigern will, wohl nachdem das mit den NFT nicht so gut gelaufen ist. Zumindest hatte ich nur den Titel gelesen, das er neue NFT raus bringt obwohl die ersten nicht mahl ausverkauft sind!?
Bei Kennedy zeigt, wenn du richtig zitiert hast, eine gewisse Unwissenheit. Denn ich bezweifel stark, dass es möglich wäre das die USA täglich 550 BTC kauft bis 4 Mio vorhanden sind.
Würde nicht vermutlich schon nach 1-2 Mio der Kurs so in die Höhe gehen, dass es immer schwieriger wäre 550 zu kaufen?
Und das wären ja auch nur 20 Jahre, wo wohl auch ohne dem der Kurs bei 1 Mio dann während, also in paar Jahren.
Aber naja, mit der Reserve könnte man ja vielleicht auch unbegrenzt Dollar drucken für den Kauf. !LOL

Hab ich mir auch gedacht, 4 Millionen Bitcoin zu kaufen, wird den Preis so stark in die Höhe treiben, dass das schwer möglich sein wird. Besser und realistischer wäre einen fixen Dollar Betrag täglich in BTC zu investieren. USA haben beteits 200K beschlagnahmte Bitcoin, sowohl Trump als auch RFK würden diese behalten.
Fixer Dollarwert wäre tatsächlich auch machbar.

Wird viel versprochen wenn der Tag lang ist, gerade im Wahlkampf. Aber ich stimme dir grundsätzlich zu: Gute Rede von Trump, gute Ansätze (Self Custody schützen, Nationale Bitcoin Reserve etc).

It's all very positive news, and it seems he now understands the value of crypto. BTC could easily become the worlds' reserve of wealth in addition to gold at this rate. It's also going to be great for all of us crypto lovers. I'm excited!

Why did they agree with him at that time and instead they agree with him now, even though he talks about bitcoin in the opposite way?
His ideas are unreliable because he changes them every time, as it suits him best.
He talks a lot of crap without ever explaining what he says, so how can you agree with such a person?
He's a politician now, so you can never truly trust him. It's like the old saying goes: How do you know when a politician is lying? Their lips are moving....
I hope he has seen the light, maybe now he realizes that there's money to be made in crypto so it changed his view. You can never trust a politician...
