This Awesome My Hive Story initiative started by @snook with this Post, and since then many Hivers jumping on this opportunity and sharing their wonderful stories. I am inspired by my dear friend @readthisplease through his Hive Story Post. I welcome you all to share your Hive Story and spread this cool initiative throughout whole Hive Community. 😊👍

How long have you been on the Blockchain?

I started my journey back in 2017 via Steemit. I was so thrilled and excited to find such a unique platform and curious to explore the world of blockchain. I have been active around just 5 months and then had to quit it for personal reasons. Then came back again in May this year but I wasn't aware of Hive at all nor do I have clue about its Hard Fork from Steemit. I went back to Steemit and found it is totally a different platform now, I did some digging and landed on Hive Blockchain. It was completely unexpected surprise and the vibes I got in my first day on Hive were simply amazing. I was amazed with the beauty and brilliance of Hive Blockchain. Its been more than 6 months now and Hive feels like Home sweet Home. ☺️

What was your background in cryptocurrency when you first came to the Blockchain?

I came to know about cryptocurrencies in 2014 and Bought My first Bitcoin in 2015 somewhere around 200$ but sold quickly around 300$, lol 😂😅 because I was a total noob and thought it might crash soon. After that I bought Ethereum and again sold it quickly with little profits. And we all know how cryptocurrencies skyrocketed in 2017 and all I had left was salt on wounds, lol. 😅😜 But after that I made investments in new coins and during market crash, I sold them due to panic. These bitter experiences have taught me alot. Its after that only I started looking for something which I could actually rely on and somewhere I can work on my growth and That's when I joined Blockchain.

What was your background in writing when you first came to the Blockchain?

I have a keen interest in writing poetry since high school, but that all with paper and pen. Well in my Steemit days I only posted poems, I used to enjoy my work. Actually Poetry was my only area of interest in writing on Blockchain. But now on Hive I have tried so many different things and Today I can write about almost anything, all thanks to Hive Blockchain. Its ok to have a particular skill but we need to experience other areas too that's something I have learnt here. And to start with, participate in Contests, that's the easy way to do it.

How many people did you know when you first came to the Blockchain?

I didn't know anyone. I am not a social media person so I hadn't any other contacts. Nor do anyone I personally know, have clue about Blockchain. In starting things seemed to difficult and sometimes discouraging too, when I hardly got single Upvote on my posts. It's really takes time and great efforts to build a social connection and engagement in this community. But after joining this platform, I was amazed to see many people from my country, although I never met anyone personally but I feel connected to them through Hive Blockchain. The social network of Hive is the best, people really get engaged when we comment on their posts, even the Whales respond to comments on their posts, a very helpful and friendly people I have come across so far in this community. So no regrets of coming alone because now I know what I will be talking back when I retire from Hive Someday, the Friendships and Camaraderie is incredible. 🤗

How did you meet people when you first came to the Blockchain?

Engagement is the key. In order to get recognition we need to act for ourselves. And the best Way to do it is engagement. I started interaction with other people. But Luckily I Found POB Talks an initiative by @vempromundo in POB Community where I found All my friends and POB became a family to me. Once the interaction started it went on from one person to other and in no time i found a circle of amazing people.

Who did you look up to when you first came to the Blockchain?

I had spent most of my time in POB community and was greatly influenced by @onealfa, his dedication and commitment to POB and Leo community always amazed me. He is a wonderful curator and his support on POB and Leo is always encouraging. I also owe my growth in POB community to one of the team leaders of POB and VYB community @scholaris, who has always been there for everyone in POB Community as a mentor, leader and friend. As a new user who is looking for some exposure, trending page has always excited me and I have found @taskmaster4450 always in trending page, his consistency and quality of Content is just amazing and inspiration for all the users.

How would you describe your first three months on the Blockchain?

First days are always exciting and full of curiosity. While most of my time went on finding the features and how things work around here. The Best thing about Hive Blockchain is its had amazing DAPPs and Wonderful Tribes and Tokens. It took me months to find out and experience all the available opportunities. Different Frontends, Different Apps like Ecency or Peakd, Hive Engine, Leodex, Tribaldex are seemed fascinating and unimaginable experience first time. I don't know how fast the first 3 months went by because everything went so great and exciting.

Has being a part of the Blockchain changed you in any way for the good?

Definitely, Now I have something valuable to do everyday. I feel a positive change in my life, Hive gave a goal and much needed confidence that Iacked in life. Apart from giving a sense of financial freedom, HIVE gives me hope for better future. I got a artistic view towards life now, because now I try to find content and context for my blogs. Various Contests on Hive helped me Improve my writing skills and a better perspective towards life. I learn a lot about different places, people and cultures around the world. Leofinance gave me access ot financial knowledge and better understanding about crypto world. There Are many creative and amazing people on Hive sharing valuable content everyday.

What is your favorite memory from your time on the Blockchain?

Hard to figure out because there are many. Something like, when I got in wothy first interaction with top users, it's really memorable and amazing experience, definitely getting a comment from top users makes our day. Or My First Post getting maximum Upvotes, comments and rewards. Every Contest win is Memorable. When other fellow users show gratitude and support its amazing. I think Hive Blockchain is all abou making Wonderful memories everyday.

If you could advise a new person signing up to Hive, what would it be?

HIVE is much better than typical blogging or social networking. It might take few months to get some recognition but all depends on Engagement and Quality of Content. We had to invest our Time and energy in order to grow on Hive. The Opportunities and Growth Potential on this platform is beyond expectations. Here you can work your way up towards excellence, financial freedom and personality development. Hive Blockchain is an opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity around the world and get rewarded to do so. Start Building you skills and Incentive Portfolio. Be Consistent and Creative in what you do. ☺️👍
