My 214th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 20.4k HP Before End of Week, and Focusing on HSBIDAO for the We Are Alive Tribe - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, July 5, 2026

My last Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update can be found here. This goals-and-progress post serves as my weekly participation in the We Are Alive Tribe's Monday 'Share Your Goals and Progress' Challenge, and in the SlothBuzz's Slothly Savers Club.

Welcome to my 214th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! Well, my Hive Power made some nice leaps this past week, with my powerup of 55+ HIVE on the July HPUD giving it an extra boost. I blew past 20,200 HP on HPUD, I smashed 2,300 HP a few days ago, and I'll easily surpass 20,400 HP before the end of this week. It is very likely that I will reach 21,000 Hive Power before the end of July, which would be a lovely birthday gift for me.

Aside from solid HP growth, my main focus this past week has been coming up with a viable way to replace the We Are Alive Tribe's lost weekly HIVE income, so that we may continue distributing HIVE to our HP delegators, and in the daily ALIVE dividends. In Hive's current horrible economic conditions, that's quite a momentous challenge, especially considering that with our available resources, there aren't really any HP delegations or income tokens that could replace it, at least not directly. Our best bet seems to be HSBIDAO, so I've focused the resources across 3 accounts, my own, @aliveandthriving, and @youarealive, with 1k-HP delegations from each to @steembasicincome, to grow our HSBIDAO holding as quickly as possible.

Since I'm in a race against time before our dwindling chunk of HIVE on our main community account, @hive-155221, runs out, I've begun to send the HSBIDAO from my own account to @aliveandthriving, as a loan, until it is no longer needed, at which time I'll pay myself back. I've begun to do the same thing with BEE as well, so that we can accumulate sufficient liquid BEE more quickly to cover our portion of the pool-creation fee for our new upcoming ALIVE:LBI Pool with @lbi-token.

I'm focusing on HSBIDAO to replace the We Are Alive Tribe's lost weekly HIVE income because it's a backed asset run by an excellent project, and because it has a consistent and strong buy wall on the market for just under 0.5 HIVE/SWAP.HIVE/1 HSBIDAO. It's also a self-growing token, so the more that we have, both in pools and sitting in our wallets, the faster it grows. So if I'm able to grow our HSBIDAO holding sufficiently quickly, our income in that token would very hopefully be comparable to our lost weekly HIVE income. I don't know if it will work in time, but it's our best shot at the moment, so I'm going for it.

Over the past week I gained +197.944 Hive Power, +0 HBD in Savings, and +0.04 Reputation Points, which means that I still have 4,673.384 HP and 99.268 HBD in Savings to go to achieve my 2026 year-end goals. Although it's unlikely that I'll reach my goal for HBD in Savings, given the current abysmal Hive economy, with how quickly my Hive Power is growing, attaining 25,000 Hive Power before the end of the year is looking increasingly feasible.

In terms of my HiveBuzz rankings, I hopped up 3 places for HP, I inched up +1 place for HBD in Savings, and I leaped up +14 places for Reputation, so a fairly good week, and all positive numbers, even if small, are definitely a plus. I'm only rising quickly in my Reputation ranking, which I still find very surprising.
