What a historic moment! Let's celebrate Bitcoin's new all-time high - and there is more than one good reason. BTC has broken through the magical 110,000 dollar mark for the first time and shot straight up to over 111,000 dollars. Who would have thought that after the setback in April, when Trump's punitive tariffs pushed the price down to 75,000 dollars? But as is so often the case, Bitcoin is here to stay.

What is behind this surge? Clearly: institutional power. The BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust reported a daily inflow of over 530 million dollars - ETFs are currently buying more BTC than is being mined. To be more precise:

ten times as much.

And the best thing? No net outflows for weeks. Trading volumes are also reminiscent of the bull run in January.

And while institutions are quietly moving billions, retail interest remains surprisingly weak - Google searches for Bitcoin remain at bear market levels. A paradox: rising prices with declining public attention. The market is currently being driven by ‘silent billions’ - and we are right in the middle of it.

There are also exciting developments: Texas, like New Hampshire, wants to set up a state Bitcoin reserve fund. More than 70 ETF applications are on the table of the now much more relaxed SEC. At the same time, there is a move away from memecoins and towards genuine financial infrastructure: VanEck is launching a Web3 fund, Avalanche is impressing with 1.5 billion TVL in tokenised assets.
