Explaining how to open packs and opening foundation packs.

I enjoy playing the Frontier format in Splinterlands, and since I don't yet have all the cards at the maximum level, I buy some Foundation packs to open during the week and expand my collection more easily.

I don't have much time to play the Frontier format, so I buy the packs to increase my collection, but I could easily evolve all the cards to the maximum level by playing daily and collecting the 3 rewards.

To buy Foundation packs in Splinterlands is simple, you just need to go to the SHOP option in the upper left corner and choose Card Packs.

You will be directed to a page with all the packs available for sale in Splinterlands, choose Foundation packs.

Currently, the lowest price for a Foundation pack is 176 DEC, which is equivalent to $0.11 considering the current DEC price.

I still aim to evolve most of my Foundation packs with the rewards I earn in the Frontier format, so I buy small quantities of packs.

Today I'm going to buy 2 Foundation packs and I hope to get some great cards for my collection. I don't yet own any of the legendary Foundation cards.

  • Each Foundation pack gives the player 5 random cards, with at least 1 of rare rarity or higher.

In total I spent 358 DEC to buy the 2 Foundation packs.

To open the packs in Splinterlands you need to go to the OPEN option in the upper left corner of the screen.

On this page you can find all the packs in Splinterlands and open or transfer the ones you own.

When opening the packs, don't forget to use Alchemy potions and Legendary potions.

  • The Alchemy potion increases the chances of getting Gold Foil cards in the packs.

  • The Legendary potion increases the chances of getting Legendary cards in the packs.

I'll use 10 Alchemy potions and 10 Legendary potions in the 2 Foundation packs.

These were the Foundation cards I got in the packs. I wasn't lucky with Legendary or Gold Foil cards, but I did get some great cards, especially the summoner card Incessant Sage.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.

For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".

Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.

Find more information about Arcade Colony in my post: Discover the Arcade Colony Platform.
