Explaining Hot Sauce and Refrigerator in Stakehouse Den

Today I'll explain how to earn Hot Sauce and how the Refrigerator works in the Stakehouse Den game.

Splinterlands was the game that brought me to the Hive, and for a long time, it was the only NFT game I played on this blockchain. But after discovering Arcade Colony, I found other games to try and invest in.

Currently, Arcade Colony has four games: Splinterlands , Genesis League Goals , Moon Karts , and Stakehouse Den.

The first game that caught my attention in Arcade Colony (aside from Splinterlands) was Moon Karts, but I realized that the game is a bit complicated to understand, so I decided to invest in Stakehouse Den first. So, my first game after Splinterlands was Stakehouse Den. If you'd like, you can read my post: Showing the StakeHouse Den Game , where I explain a bit about the game.

To find more information about Stakehouse Den, I recommend the game Whitepapper , it contains all the information about how the game works.

Another post that might be useful is Explaining How to Buy Lady Luck Packs and Opening My First Pack in Stakehouse Den , in which I explain how to buy and open packs in Stakehouse Den.

This post focuses on Hot Sauce and the Refrigerator, so let's start by talking about them because they're very important in the game.

What is Hot Sauce?

Hot Sauce determines your reward multiplier in the game, so they're very important for earning Colony tokens.

How to get Hot Sauce?

Hot Sauce can be generated by staking both cards and scripts. The generation rate will depend on card level, rarity, and foil. Higher-level cards, higher rarity, and gold foil generate more Hot Sauce than lower-level cards, lower rarity, and regular foil cards, respectively.

For each card staked, two scripts must be staked regardless of level to generate
Hot Sauce.

In Whitepaper, there's a Hot Sauce option where you'll find details on how much you can earn with each staked card.

What is the Refrigerator?

Once Hot Sauce is generated by staking cards, it can be claimed and stored in the Refrigerator. The Refrigerator comes with a free storage capacity of 50 Hot Sauce. Once the storage capacity is reached, no more Hot Sauce can be stored. Storage capacity can be increased by burning scripts.

Currently, the number of SCRIPT tokens you need to burn to increase the Refrigerator capacity is:

Free = Storage capacity of 50 Hot Sauce.
1 SCRIPT = Storage capacity of 450 Hot Sauce.
5 SCRIPT = Storage capacity of 4,000 Hot Sauce.
25 SCRIPT = Storage capacity of 31,250 Hot Sauce.
50 SCRIPT = Storage capacity of 90,000 Hot Sauce.
100 SCRIPT = Storage capacity of 245,000 Hot Sauce.
250 SCRIPT = Capacity to store 800,000 Hot Sauce.
500 SCRIPT = Capacity to store 2,025,000 Hot Sauce.
1000 SCRIPT = Capacity to store 5,000,000 Hot Sauce.

I'm still thinking about my strategy for Stakehouse Den, so the only investment I've made in the game is getting cards from packs. I still need to increase my refrigerator storage capacity and stake them so I can start earning Hot Sauce and using them in the game.
