Summoners are essential in Splinterlands, and today I'm going to talk about Scarred Llama Mage, so join me on this brief journey of knowledge.
In the past, my favorite strategy in battles with low mana was to use Scarred Llama Mage combined with Kron the Undying.
Let's see how each of these cards works in Splinterlands.

Scarred Llama Mage is a legendary summoner from the Earth Deck and costs 7 mana to use in battle. This is a high cost for a battle with low mana, but you'll see how worthwhile it is to use it with Kron the Undying.
Let's look at the benefits of using Scarred Llama Mage as a summoner.
Increase the life of allied monsters by +2.
Grant the Last Stand ability to allied monsters.
Apply the Cleanse ability to the allied monster positioned in the first position.
Scarred Llama Mage is the type of summoner that makes you depend on only 1 card in battle.

Kron the Undying is a legendary monster from the Earth Deck and costs 10 mana to use in battle. To use Scarred Llama Mage and Kron the Undying, you need at least 17 mana available.
Let's see the abilities that Kron the Undying possesses.

Heal: Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down).

Divine Shield: Ignores all damage once, after which the Divine Shield is destroyed.

Last Stand: +50% to all stats and current health (rounded up) if no other allied units remain on the team.
In the past, having Scarred Llama Mage and Kron the Undying at level 1 was enough to win most battles, even battles in high leagues. Now let's take a look at this combination in battle.

Normally I would use this card combination in a battle with less mana, but it was very useful in this battle and I only needed 2 monsters to defeat my opponent's 5 monsters.
Even today this combination is powerful, especially if the battle has exactly 17 mana, then it's a great combination to add to your strategies.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
