From Zero to... Well, Still Not Much: MMO Saturday Savers Update

It's been a minute

Isn't it funny how English varies with the meanings of words and sayings from country to country. Here in the UK a minute could be taken to be a minute, a few seconds or even a few minutes, but in my partner @deraaa's country Nigeria that minute could be a much longer time, a beeg while and in this case three weeks since our last update post!

Right, so, our blog... Remember that?

The digital tumbleweed that occasionally hosted a post about… well, we’re not entirely sure about that either! So we had a team meeting earlier this week in an attempt to rectify this situation!

And the bottom line is ... we've had a revelation!

Five posts a week! That's like, a whole blog per work day!

We'll practically be a digital news outlet, if the news was mostly about @tengolotodo feeding more fluffing swans or hearing about the latest ride on @deraaa's emotional coming of age rollercoaster.

Momentum!

It’s like trying to herd caffeinated squirrels, but we're fluffing doing it!

This will be our fourth day in a row that we have published a post on Hive.

We're picturing a tidal wave of clicks, a tsunami of engagement! And with it, in 7 day delays a small but still very respectable puddle of pennies.

Enough pennies hopefully to fill a small swimming pool or at least an empty paper cup that we can then convert entirely into HBD.

Imagine that though, swimming in stable coins! How cool would that be! The fluffing swans would be happy and I reckon so would @deraaa's emotions!

Back to today...

This post is an update on where we are with our Saturday Savers goals....

The recap ...

1. Save 365 HBD (1 HBD a day)
2. Refer 52 users.

I know we are behind, but sometimes things just happen!

Like this...

I went to our wallet page on the InLeo UI which is where I am writing this from.

First thing is that I was happy to see our HP has comfortably passed the 100 HP mark and is now making a charge for 150HP!

I also saw we had 2 HBD in savings. We do pay for our Canva pro membership which we use both here and on our MMO activities off Hive from our HBD stash, nevertheless I wanted to transfer 1 HBD to savings ....

The computer said no!

Ah well, that was the Universe doing its thing. Once this Momentum has kicked in then I am sure we will be in a much better place with our savings...

Our Saturday Savers progress

It has not made for pleasant reading!

HBD saved as at 1st March 2025 was 8.21
HBD saved as at 22nd March 2025 is still 8.21

Number of referrals was 1 at 1st March 2025
Number of referrals as at 22nd March 2025 is 2

So HBD remained the way it was with no progres... But we doubled our Hive referral count!

So yeah good progress on the growing the Hive ecosystem front.

In fact ... we have more referrals than followers if you look at our profile on InLeo

Oh well, time for some breakfast!
