With the introduction of the new Soulbound Reward Cards and with the changes to the Rulesets (3 Rulesets in Gold+ Leagues + 2 New Rulesets) the game of Splinterlands has become more fun.

My current game goal that I would like to achieve in the short term is to be able to play in the Diamonds leagues from the very first days of the season instead of the last 2-3 days.

For the past two completed seasons I have been testing to choose which format of ranked battles to play in, and this season I have decided to play solely in the Ranked Battles of the Wild Format.

When there are 4 days and 20 hours left until the end of the season I am in the Gold I league with a rating score of 2682 points.

Being able to play from the early days of the season in the Diamonds leagues would allow me to get better rewards that I could use to speed up the upgrading of my card collection.

In the following image you can see what is possible to find inside the chests and with what probability.

Playing from the earliest days of the season in the Diamond leagues would also allow me to earn a major amount of SPS tokens as you can see from the statistics indicated by the useful Reward Pool Statistics tool at https://splex.gg/tools/reward_pools.

The difference in the average gain in SPS per win between Gold I and Diamond III is +1,274 SPS per win in favor of the Diamond III league.

This means that winning 100 battles in the Diamond III league allows you to get 120 more SPS than in the Gold I league.

My goal related to SPS tokens is to reach an amount of 100K SPS staked but I am at just over half of that: 53104 SPS staked

To reach my game goal and to reach my SPS token accumulation goal faster, I have only one way to go: increase the battle strength of my card collection!.

I recently achieved an upgrading goal that I had been pursuing for a long time: to take my level 2 Byzantine Kitty to level 3.

Byzantine Kitty is by far the summoner I like the most because she is the most versatile:

• she can summon cards of all elements
• has the Tank Heal ability that is always very useful in battle
• has the True Strike ability that applies to all cards and allows you to cancel the evading effect of enemy cards' speed
• increases the speed of all cards by 2 points making cards that already have a high base speed such as Phantom Of The Abyss, Djinn Oshannus, Dragon Jumper, Fineas Rage, Kelp Initiate, Regal Peryton, ... become really hard to eliminate.

I will dedicate a future post of mine to Byzantine Kitty and its great versatility and usefulness in battle ;)

Instead, in this post I want to focus on powering cards that have an attack from a distance and that have become much more useful than in the past after the introduction of the new ruleset Going the distance.

So this post is a continuation of the post I published 8 days ago in which I analyzed the new Going the Distance rule and in which I showed some useful cards and some strategies to use in battle.

How can I increase my win rate in battles that have the Going the Distance battle rule?

When I receive the Going the Distance ruleset in a battle, I prefer, if possible, to choose the fire element as first choice and the water element as second choice.

In the following image you can see the fire element cards that I like to use most when the ruleset is Going the Distance.

To the cards I showed you earlier I like to combo some cards of the neutral element and some cards of the dragon element such as the cards you can see in the following image.

The results I'm getting in battles with the Going the Distance rule in Gold leagues are quite good but I want to improve them by making purchases and upgrades.

The first card I decided to upgrade today is Gargoya Devil for four reasons:

• it has a very low purchase cost: Low buy $0.027
• it has the Close Range ability which is very useful when the battle rule is Going the Distance because it allows Gargoya Devil to attack from the first position.
• it is a neutral card and can be summoned by all summoners of any element.
• I can place it in first position when I cannot use fire and water element cards such as Wave Brood and Molten Ash Golem.

Purchasing Gargoya Devil of maximum level is quite inexpensive: $3,105 (115 BCX).

In my collection I have:

• 1 Gargoya Devil level 6
• 16 Gargoya Devil level 1

When the cost of a card is low I prefer to buy it right away while when the price is high and there is a difference between Low Bid and Low Buy/BCX I prefer to bid for it.

In the case of Gargoya Devil I only need to buy another 39 BCX and spend $1,053 so I make the purchase from https://monstermarket.io/ right away.

There is another card I decided to upgrade today that I would never have upgraded if the Going the Distance ruleset had not been introduced: Xenith Archer.

Having a card that costs only two mana points when the only cards that can be selected are those with ranged attack becomes very useful in battle.

The level that can be useful to me in battle is level 6 which is then my upgrade target.

In my collection I have 43 BCX and I need to purchase 17 more cards to reach my upgrade goal.

Again, I made the purchase immediately and spent 7416,154 DEC = 5,307$.

Another card I decided to upgrade is Molten Ash Golem.

In my collection I have:

• 1 Molten Ash Golem level 3 (14 BCX)
• 37 Monten Ash Golem level 1

I decided to bring my Molten Ash Golem to the maximum level and today I purchased another 64 BCX from https://monstermarket.io/

I also upgraded Scavo Firebolt by taking it from level 4 to maximum level.

The reason for this upgrade is obvious: Scavo Firebolt starting at level 6 acquires the Knock Out ability which is the perfect combination with Lava Launcher's Stun ability.

Among the Dragon element cards with ranged attack, I chose to buy Runic Skyclaw of level 1.

I would like to purchase Runic Skyclaw of level 5 because it acquires the reflection shield ability but I would incur a cost of 27,458$ and I would rather wait to see if DEC tokens will increase in value in the future before spending amounts in excess of 20-30$ to purchase a card.

For the time being, I am content with Runic Skyclaw level 1 which already has good stats and I could use it in high mana battles with the Going the Distance rule.

The last purchases I made today were Tinderlock and Queen Of Crows for the same reasons I purchased Runic Skyclaw.

For these last two purchases I spent 2369.518 DEC = $1,648

Final Considerations

With the purchases I made today, I continued to increase the battle strength of my card collection and definitely increased my chances of winning battles with the Going the Distance ruleset.

When I decide to improve the battle strength of my card collection I like to choose the cards to purchase starting with the evaluation and analysis of the rulesets.

After my purchases I played 2 battles with the Going the Distance ruleset. I had hoped to have more battles to show in this post but even though it is only two battles it shows some possible positioning strategies.
In particular the first battle shows the usefulness of the Lava Launcher + Scavo Firebolt combo.

Even the purchases/upgrades I made today and shared in this post will most likely not be enough in the immediate future to get back to playing from the early days of the seasons in the Diamond leagues of Splinterlands but I have definitely taken one more step toward my gaming goal.

L'Ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte e il mio obiettivo di gioco: Diamond I

Con l'introduzione delle nuove Soulbound Reward Cards e con le modifiche alle Rulesets (3 Rulesets in Gold+ Leagues + 2 Nuove Rulesets) il gioco di Splinterlands è diventato più divertente.

Il mio obiettivo di gioco attuale che vorrei raggiungere nel breve termine è di riuscire a giocare nelle leghe Diamonds fin dai primi giorni della stagione invece che negli ultimi 2-3 giorni.

Nelle ultime due stagioni concluse ho fatto dei tests per scegliere in quale formato di ranked battles giocare e in questa stagione ho deciso di giocare unicamente nelle Ranked Battles del Wild Format.

Quando mancano 4 giorni e 20 ore alla fine della stagione sono in lega Gold I con un punteggio di rating di 2682 punti.

Riuscire a giocare fin dai primi giorni della stagione nelle leghe Diamonds mi permetterebbe di ottenere ricompense migliori che potrei utilizzare per velocizzare il potenziamento della mia collezione di carte.

Giocare fin dai primi giorni della stagione nelle leghe Diamond mi permetterebbe anche di guadagnare un maggior quantitativo di token SPS come puoi vedere dalle statistiche indicate dall'utile tool Reward Pool Statistics del sito https://splex.gg/tools/reward_pools.

La differenza del guadagno medio in SPS per vittoria tra Gold I e Diamond III è di +1.274 SPS per vittoria in favore della lega Diamond III.

Il mio obiettivo relativo ai token SPS è di raggiungere un quantitativo di 100K SPS staked ma sono a poco più della metà: 53104 SPS staked

Per raggiungere il mio obiettivo di gioco e per raggiungere il mio obiettivo di accumulo dei token SPS ho solo una strada da percorrere: aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte!

Di recente ho raggiunto un obiettivo di potenziamento che inseguivo da tempo: portare la mia Byzantine Kitty di livello 2 al livello 3.

Byzantine Kitty è in assoluto l'evocatore che mi piace di più perchè è il più versatile:

• può evocare le carte di tutti gli elementi
• ha l'abilità Tank Heal che è sempre molto utile in battaglia
• ha l'abilità True Strike che si applica a tutte le carte e permette di annullare l'effetto schivante della velocità delle carte nemiche
• aumenta la velocità di tutte le carte di 2 punti facendo diventare davvero difficili da eliminare carte che hanno già un'alta velocità di base come ad esempio Phantom Of The Abyss, Djinn Oshannus, Dragon Jumper, Fineas Rage, Kelp Initiate, Regal Peryton, ...

Dedicherò un mio prossimo post a Byzantine Kitty e alla sua grande versatilità e utilità in battaglia ;)

In questo post voglio invece focalizzarmi sul potenziamento delle carte che hanno un attacco dalla distanza e che sono diventate molto più utili rispetto al passato dopo l'introduzione della nuova ruleset Going the distance.

Questo post è quindi la continuazione del post che ho pubblicato 8 giorni fa in cui ho analizzato la nuova regola Going the Distance e in cui ho mostrato alcune carte utili e alcune strategie da utilizzare in battaglia.

Come posso aumentare il mio win rate nelle battaglie che hanno la regola di battaglia Going the Distance?

Quando in una battaglia ricevo la ruleset Going the Distance preferisco, se possibile, scegliere l'elemento fuoco come prima scelta e l'elemento acqua come seconda scelta.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le carte dell'elemento fuoco che mi piace utilizzare di più quando la ruleset è Going the Distance.

Alle carte che ti ho mostrato prima mi piace abbinare alcune carte dell'elemento **neutrale **e alcune carte dell'elemento dragone come ad esempio le carte puoi vedere nell'immagine seguente.

I risultati che sto ottenendo nelle battaglie con la regola Going the Distance nelle leghe Gold sono abbastanza buoni ma voglio migliorarli facendo acquisti e potenziamenti.

La prima carta che ho deciso di potenziare oggi è Gargoya Devil per quattro motivi:

• ha un costo di acquisto molto basso: Low buy 0.027$
• ha l'abilità Close Range che è molto utile quando la regola di battaglia è Going the Distance perchè permette a Gargoya Devil di attaccare dalla prima posizione.
• è una carta neutrale e può essere evocata da tutti gli evocatori di qualsiasi elemento.
• posso posizionarla in prima posizione quando non posso utilizzare le carte degli elementi fuoco e acqua come Wave Brood e Molten Ash Golem.

Acquistare Gargoya Devil di livello massimo ha un costo abbastanza contenuto: 3.105$ (115 BCX).

Nella mia collezione ho:

• 1 Gargoya Devil di livello 6
• 16 Gargoya Devil di livello 1

Quando il costo di una carta è basso preferisco comprarla subito mentre quando il prezzo è alto e c'è differenza tra Low Bid e Low Buy/BCX preferisco fare offerte di acquisto.

Nel caso di Gargoya Devil devo acquistare solo altri 39 BCX e spendere 1.053$ e quindi effettuo subito l'acquisto dal sito https://monstermarket.io/

C'è un'altra carta che ho deciso di potenziare oggi e che non avrei mai potenziato se non fosse stata introdotta la ruleset Going the Distance: Xenith Archer.

Avere una carta che costa solo due punti di mana quando le uniche carte selezionabili sono quelle con attacco dalla distanza diventa molto utile in battaglia.

Il livello che può essermi utile in battaglia è il livello 6 che è quindi il mio obiettivo di upgrade.

Nella mia collezione ho 43 BCX e devo acquistarne altre 17 carte per raggiungere il mio obiettivo di upgrade.

Anche in questo caso ho effettuato subito l'acquisto e ho speso 7416.154 DEC = 5.307$.

Un'altra carta che ho deciso di potenziare è Molten Ash Golem.

Nella mia collezione ho:

• 1 Molten Ash Golem di livello 3 (14 BCX)
• 37 Monten Ash Golem di livello 1

Ho deciso di portare il mio Molten Ash Golem al livello massimo e oggi ho acquistato altri 64 BCX da https://monstermarket.io/

Ho potenziato anche Scavo Firebolt portandolo dal livello 4 al livello massimo.

Il motivo di questo upgrade è evidente: Scavo Firebolt a partire dal livello 6 acquisisce l'abilità Knock Out che è la combinazione perfetta con l'abilità Stun di Lava Launcher.

Tra le carte dell'elemento Dragone con attacco dalla distanza ho scelto di acquistare Runic Skyclaw di livello 1.

Mi piacerebbe acquistare Runic Skyclaw di livello 5 perchè acquisisce l'abilità reflection shield ma dovrei sostenere un costo di 27.458$ e preferisco aspettare di vedere se i token DEC aumenteranno il loro valore in futuro prima di spendere cifre superiori a 20-30$ per l'acquisto di una carta.

Per il momento mi accontento di Runic Skyclaw di livello 1 che ha già ottime statistiche e potrei utilizzarla nelle high mana battles con la regola Going the Distance.

Gli ultimi acquisti che ho effettuato oggi sono stati Tinderlock e Queen Of Crows per le stesse motivazioni per cui ho acquistato Runic Skyclaw.

Per questi due ultimi acquisti ho speso 2369.518 DEC = 1.648$

Considerazioni Finali

Con gli acquisti che ho effettuato oggi ho continuato ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte e ho sicuramente aumentato le mie possibilità di vincere le battaglie con la ruleset Going the Distance.

Quando decido di migliorare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte mi piace scegliere le carte da acquistare partendo dalle rulesets.

Dopo i miei acquisti ho giocato 2 battaglie con la ruleset Going the Distance. Speravo di avere un numero maggiore di battaglie da mostrare in questo post ma anche se sono solo due battaglie mostrano alcune possibili strategie di posizionamento.
In particolare la prima battaglia mostra l'utilità della combo Lava Launcher + Scavo Firebolt.

Anche gli acquisti/upgrades che ho effettuato oggi e che ho condiviso in questo post con molta probabilità non saranno sufficienti nell'immediato futuro per tornare a giocare fin dai primi giorni delle stagioni nelle leghe Diamond di Splinterlands ma ho sicuramente fatto un ulteriore passo in avanti verso il mio obiettivo di gioco.
