You summarized it well. With Dexes you can find your way around. It's not perfect it's not as popular, but your funds are SAFU. Switching interfaces is one of those added advantages, for now, the smaller figures are working.

Yeah, for some reason people still trust CEXes more or they wouldn't still dominate in transaction volume. They also have a lot of pairs and coins listed. Maybe that matters too.
I think DEXEs will eventually grow, however I still fill cexes will bring more adoption as time goes on. It's like a necessity evil (cex) that still has its perks

I would say all the marketing + affiliate programs of CEXs have a lot to do with this on top of the added "convenience" of not having to be your own bank. Cryptosphere has a marketing problem once you get out of the scam/meme territory. Some of the best technologies come with some of the worst marketing. We are already using one such project!
