250k COLONY tokens and plan to increase the Stake

I hope that life is treating you well wherever you are in this part of the world.

This is a layer two token for the game called Moonkart, and the token is called Colony. This is listed on layer two exchanges, where we can buy and sell the token as well as send it to our game account and stake it. currently there is no benefit to staking the coin because I don't see any APR for this; however, I believe that once the game grows, then probably the utility for this token will evolve. All the tokens that I hold are purchased from the market. All these are also staked. Last year, I had no specific goal with colony, but I feel like I should try to buy more and increase the overall holding because you never know when things turn out to be good, and that's when the price for the token will also increase.

This colony token is listed on Hive Engine Exchange, and below is a snapshot of the trade window, where you can see that there is no traction in terms of trading, which is a little strange, but maybe because the game is still under development. generally it takes time for any gaming project to get a bigger community, and development is another part that is time-consuming. But since the team is behind that development, and I can see some action in their Discord server, I probably see more action once things are in better shape.

I am thinking that I should increase my overall holding for the colony token this year and make it 1 million down the line. Whereas I have already achieved the goal by 25%, but 75% is still pending, which I will be trying to achieve in the coming months. My gaming knowledge is limited, and currently I play just one game, which is splinterlands and that game has got a few tokens, out of which SPS is more valuable, I believe.

SPS and colony both look similar to me from the gaming perspective, but I believe that because the Splinter Lands game is big and grown, and Moonkart is a new game that is still not fully developed, I believe that once things are developed and the game is in better shape, then we can see more people coming to the game. I don't think I need to explain much that with a larger user base and a bigger community, the demand for the token will also grow, but that is going to be a time-consuming process. And once that happens, then people who join early in the game will benefit more.

I have never got the opportunity to join any project in its early days, so maybe this one can be that one particular project for me where I got entry in the initial days. It can be risky as well because you never know which project is going to and which one is not, so taking a risk can be profitable. But one also has to understand that this might turn out to be a loss-making decision as well. So I'm taking a bet on the Moonkart game.

Investing is all about taking some risk, but that has to be a calculated risk based on some research, and only money should be invested which one can afford to lose so I am trying to do that and it's like a situation for me when if I get some benefits then I'll be happy but if in case not then also it's fine. However, I still believe that the chances and the probability for growth are way higher, so I'm taking a bet on this game, and I will continue to invest in the token. There are other assets which can be purchased, but because I'm not getting time to play the game so will not go there for now, but later in the future I will surely consider that.
