Starting My Moon Karts Journey

It's been a few years since I last logged into Hive, and on my return I discovered an interesting game called Moon Karts.

Initially, my goal was to return to Splinterlands, and I still have that interest, but there are many changes, and I'll need some time to fully understand the game again. While that happens, I'll begin my journey in Moon Karts, a game with a theme I really enjoy.

To start in Moon Karts, you need to understand how Arcade Colony works, but I'll explain it in detail in another post.

Access Arcade Colony and create an account on the gaming platform.

You only need an email and a Hive account using Keychain. There are other ways to create an Arcade Colony account, but I'll explain them in the future.

After logging in, choose Moon Karts to enter the game and join me on my journey.

This is the Moon Karts homepage, and here you'll find all the game's functions and gameplay. To start playing Moon Karts, you need to do 3 things initially:

• Buy NFTs in the game to participate in races.

• Stake NFTs to get Fuel and start the race.

• Stake COLONY tokens to increase your in-game earnings.

Let's start with the NFTs you need to begin your Moon Karts journey.

Access the Moon Karts Market in Arcade Colony to buy assets; you will need SCRIPT tokens.

You need to transfer SCRIPT tokens from your Hive Engine wallet to Arcade Colony. Click on the SCRIPT token in the upper corner of the screen, and you will be redirected to the page above.

This is Transfer, then Hive Engine, and then transfer your SCRIPT tokens to Arcade Colony.

I transferred 20 SCRIPT tokens, and I think that amount will be enough for me to buy some NFTs in Arcade Colony.

This is the Moon Karts Market and the NFTs I'm going to buy are:

• Silent Stream
• Hammer
• Corne Demon
• Lite Glide
• Gear Adjustment
• Astro Kart
• Body Reinforcement
• Engine Refinement
• Tire Alignment

All are Common rarity NFTs and I spent a total of 13.03 SCRIPT. This value is equivalent to $2.10 and in my opinion it's a low amount to start with in an NFT game.

After buying the NFTs you need to equip them and this is my combination after equipping all the NFTs I bought.

To start a match with these NFTs I need 7.7 Fuel.

Getting Fuel is very simple, you just need to stake NFTs in the Auto Vault option.

I bought 1 NFT Gold Foil to stake and spent 4.58 SCRIPT on it. By staking the card, I will receive 9.6 Fuel daily.

An important detail is that to maximize Fuel gain, you need SCRIPT staked; for each NFT, you need 2 SCRIPT staked.

I will need to stake more NFTs to get more Fuel and participate in more battles during the season, but initially this is enough for me to test the game and start my journey in it.

The next step is to stake COLONY to increase in-game earnings, but I will do that tomorrow along with a new post showing my first match and my first reward in the game.
