🚀 Saturday Savers Update – Week 33

Another week has passed, which means it’s time for my Saturday Savers update! Let’s dive into what happened this week on the savings and building front.

📊 Numbers & Progress

• Hive Power: 11,503 HP → 🔼 +214 (helped by injecting some fiat savings into Hive)

• HBD: 1,460 HBD → +20 HBD from savings interest (rounded, because my OCD doesn’t allow odd numbers 😅)

• EDSI: 115 → only a small increment this week, since strangely I didn’t receive the weekly payout for holding EDSD.

• BBHO: 10,242 → steady climb after passing the big 10k milestone!

• BXT: 325 → slow but consistent growth, although not every week (like this one)

• LEO: 542 → unchanged, but on track, goal already reached.

So overall, Hive Power had a nice boost, HBD is growing steadily with its sweet 15% passive interest, and BBHO and Leo keep pushing further past their goals. EDSI lagged a little because of that missed payout, but we’ll see it catch up again I suppose.

🔧 Projects & Work

This week was split between three fronts:

1. Tipping Bots – Had to prioritize improvements after some people deliberately abused the system. Not fun, but important to make the bots stronger and less exploitable.

2. Witness Work – @botlord (Hive witness) is still running smoothly and producing blocks, but needs a lot more votes to rise in the rankings. So if you haven’t yet – here’s a subtle nudge 👉 Vote for @botlord here.

3. Projects in the Wild – One of the projects I’ve been building is nearly done. Some of you may already have seen it pop up, but I’ll leave the official reveal to its rightful owner. The other project is still baking, but it’s coming along nicely.

🌱 Closing Thoughts

This week was a good reminder of balance – building, saving, protecting, and yes, also remembering that not everything always goes smoothly. But progress is progress. Step by step, the numbers grow greener, and the systems get stronger.
