Simply "liking" posts on Hive can become income

I've been curating on hive second layer for as long as I can remember, but I only recently moved my activities to separate curation accounts.

I have stakes in multiple platforms on Hive second layer, but I only curate in a handful of platforms. Even those platforms have been quite tedious for me to keep up with.

For starters, some of the platforms are very glitchy, thus making it very stressful to actually curate. However, I always do what I can to drain my voting power whenever I'm on my computer.

Ever since I lightened the load on my shoulder by delegating my staked tokens to different ends of the Curation cartel project, I've had to curate in only a handful of platofmrs.

At the time of writing, I only curate on Leofinance, Proofofbrain, Splintertalk, Cinetv and Sportstalk. Honestly, even curating on just these four platforms has been a real challenge for me.

In the period since I've been curating, I have actually built a somewhat impressive portfolio across my different accounts.

Out of the lot, my Leofunance curation has been the most productive and that is for a variety of reasons. Yes, I spend more time on Leofinance but that's not the real reason why my curation activities there have been more productive.

If we were to go by raw numbers, my Leofinance curation shouldn't be doing better than Proofofbrain for example. Yet this is the case.

The main reason Leofinance curation has been more productive than every other Hive-engine platform is that the platform is optimised to facilitate quick transactions.

Simply put, curating posts on Leo is more convenient than every other Hive-engine platform. Going back to POB for example, it takes a little bit too long to curate and it always seems glitchy.

The glitches are the reason why, for example, I could curate out up to 5 Leo a day but struggle to even reach 3 POB per day, despite my POB vote being worth more than 1 POB and my Leo vote being around 1 Leo.

How much is it worth?

Anyway, Hive-engine recently made some upgrades that pretty much makes your wallet section look like Leodex. I'm not sure I like this new look because I liked knowing the dollar of value of my liquid tokens because it enabled me to track my weekly earnings.

So, using hive-engine's new look, I logged into all my curation wallets to check the current dollar value of the content. To my surprise, I was doing a lot better than I thought.

I have most likely staked up to 95% of everything I've earned through curation on these accounts.

In my three curation accounts, I noticed I had raised over $200. Look at it like this, I've raised over $200 from just liking posts.

Breaking it down, my Leo curation account is currently worth $194 based on the current price of the Leo token.
My POB and Cinetv curation account is worth about $30. The Splintertalk, and Sportstalk curation account is currently worth about $50.

Virtually everything earned on these three accounts was earned from simply "liking" posts. This is one of the most impressive benefits you get from participating on Hive blockchain.

As my stale continues to rise in all these platforms, so will my curation earnings. At some point in the future, I might actually find myself in a position where I sustain my life from simply liking posts. When that time comes, I will retire in peace and spend the rest of my life drinking alcohol and playing video games.
