Hive Blockchain - Engagement barometer through the lens of Comment Rewarder | October 2024
Another month has passed and on the Hive blockchain, the almighty Comment Rewarder never slept and kept on rewarding engagement. We now have a full month of data - October 2024 - in which the service was active, so the stats corresponding to it are more relevant than before when we had a partial month - September 2024. While there might be still users discovering this service and the way to use, nevertheless we can appreciate its expansion and evolution. So without speaking too much about it, let's dive into the stats for it.
At the moment the Comment Rewarder tips the users that engaged through comments to registered articles (set one of the Beneficiary=@CommentRewarder with a value greater or equal to 3%) using Hive and Hbd. That might get creative in the future and who knows, maybe we'll see also some second layer tokens or other perks. But until that happens, let's see the engagement barometer on the Hive blockchain through the lens of Comment Rewarder for October 2024.

I think this is another revenue channel and through simple engagement we can tap into that. Congrats and keep on going, multi dimension growth is the key to success.
You're right, I think it's another side revenue for people who just loves natural engagement.
This is an interesting read in that there are about five Hive in every HBD, so, the rewards in the top 100 in HBD, although many of the same names are there, are quite different.
I would be interested, if and only if it is not too much work, to see the top 10-100 rewarders, because that overlays consistency of use with those users having good rewards to share and also engaging enough with their commenters to remember to upvote them.
That's an interesting idea and it would assume to shift the stats from liquid rewards to comments upvotes for posts where CR was enabled. It would be harder to implement, but it is food for thought. I will think about it.
This is one of the best ways to encourage comments, and a natural and sincere comment, I'm using it since it practically came out to the arena in fact in my publications of my contests I do it to reward those who participate.

Good to hear that. Enabling CR on our post is a way of spreading wealth which is the recipe to decentralization. Ultimately this ensures the health of this ecosystem.
That's why I use it also. By rewarding comments the post author upvotes, CR sorts engagement, because authors tend to not upvote comments from bots, CR tends to reward actual people that engage with authors.
The growth and interaction is increasing, and it is becoming more and more evident the number of users who are already using CR in their publications, something that personally makes me very happy and encourages me to continue working on this excellent project in Hive 😎.

It's great to see people engaging and being rewarded with HIVE and HBD. It would be awesome if we can also have stats on authors sharing their post rewards to their engagers through CR :)
Right, I have another report for that focusing on the authors that enabled CR for their post and to extract as stats those that have most articles set this way and also the number of comments that were generated as part of the engagement. I will post it along the way.

It's good to see the users of CommentRewarder being rewards nicely, then recognized for taking advantage of the service.
However, the service only works when authors are willing to use it and share. How about the Top 100 authors who make the tool available on their content and work for all Hive members. Can we see how much they've helped engagement on Hive move toward a truly social platform?
