I was sitting at mu buddies huge bon fire last night. Amazing Bro! You could have easily just have imagined a lake in the background and it was as if we were away on cottage vacation.
All the while the clock is clicking in the background.
Not quite the "Stranger Things" Grandfather clock clicking in the background but it's always there! You know the sound of impending doom! Of course any good horror repeats repetitive sound bites to rise help get the hair risen on the back of your neck.
Anyways what am I getting at? It's the weekend! The world hasn't ended today and the bullshit will click in the background like it's done for a very long time. Of course it all comes crashing down at some point but do you really need an app to see it? Do you really need an app to remind you?
Skip the reminders. For every action there is a reaction and most of the fear porn is put out there so that they get a click, or a like, or an upvote.
Relax this weekend. The only thing you have to lose is your comfort. The world will continue on even with a count down in the background. If you ignore it, it's not there. Alright it might be there but your weekend will be better.
