I recently did a house renovation after we had water coming inside our house during last year's rainy season. We have this problem in Chennai where many places are flooded with water during the peak rainy season. The amount of rainfall that happens is high but at the same time, we don't have a good drain facility in our City's infrastructure. All urbanization also destroyed the rivers and water bodies. When rain happens, the water flows towards its old lake area and other places where it used to be a lake back in olden days.
During the renovation activity, one thing that I installed in my house was this Paver block. This is getting popular in many places where one block is interlocked with another block to create a good bond.
When the stone is installed, it becomes a good path for walking and the look also is very neat. A small gap in between will let the water flow inside to increase the ground level. This way the rainwater is not wasted by sending it to drain and instead it goes inside the ground. This increases our groundwater level.
Some of the roads have also started using paver blocks in the road corners for people to walk on them. There again it serves the same purpose where the excess water after the rain easily goes inside the ground make it not stagnate.
Many innovations are happening in many countries where these paver blocks are made of recycled materials. Mostly the plastic waste that is dumped in the dump yard is collected and recycled to create cost-effective paver blocks and at the same time, they are durable and good for the environment because they are made out of recycling materials.
Another big advantage we have with paver blocks is that if one block gets damaged, it is easy to remove just one block and replace it with a new one. Even in the future if we are planning to make additional constructions or make changes to the ground flooring, it is easy to re-use these paver blocks. These are some of the primary reasons why people are fond of using Paver blocks as their flooring material compared to other concrete flooring.
The biggest advantage to having this implemented is the fact that it is cost-effective. We can save a lot of money compared to laying concrete floors. The main cost savings come when we re-use the blocks again when we are making additional changes to the flooring.
There are different types of blocks available that differs in size and shape and also the material out of which it is made. Some premium quality blocks are a bit costly but it gives a royal look when used in our flooring. Some blocks are good for our feet.

This really makes sense
We have something like this paver blocks in my house but with another shape
Itβs a very good one though
Installing paver blocks is a smart way to manage water and improve drainage. Wow they really help with flooding issues.
We had rain today, it was too heavy, but gladly the water didn't come into the house, but it was all in the street.
This is a very good idea as long as water wonβt enter your house anymore
Iβm really shocked that it can be made from wasteβ¦
