Getting stock recommendations from Perplexity AI
Today, we are making use of AI for many things, and recently, I was curious to understand if it can be of any value in generating money or making money. I wanted to check if it can help me with trading and predictions. The reason why I wanted to try perplexity, even though there are other AI available, is because I have a premium subscription for one year with the help of Airtel. Additionally, I hear that Perplexity is good for real-time analysis.
Why Perplexity AI stands out
As mentioned above, Perplexity AI is good at providing a real-time analysis and providing the result based on that. Compared to other AI models, Perplexity has access to real-time data, and that's the reason why people want to get stock market recommendations from Perplexity AI. I recently tried asking for a recommendation about a stock from Perplexity AI, and I was highly satisfied with the answer it provided me. The first thing is that even though I know a little about the stock and I hold the stock, much of the information was new to me, and it was very well presented to me. I think Perplexity stands out by providing real-time data analysis.
Good companion to brainstorm
If we have some ideas and if we need someone to brainstorm, we can use the AI, but we have to be very careful that AI should be used with caution. Sometimes we might have a great idea, but we may not have someone to talk to and improvise or get suggestions. Even if we talk to a real person, there is a high chance that they might confuse us with their ideas and ideologies. This is where making use of AI to chat is very good because we can control what AI recommends to us, and we can keep it in our way.
Don't take any decisions based on AI
We have to understand that getting stock recommendations from Perplexity AI is good and can be more informative but the thing is that we shouldn't take any decisions just because AI gave us all the information and AI is very positive about it. In spite of the information provided to us, we have to do our due deligence and try to find the pros and cons and then do the investment or trading. There is a high chance that AI can be wrong, so it is good to make our own decisions based on the data and parameters provided by AI. So ultimately AI can be used only to gather the data that we need to take decision,s and AI cannot be our decision maker.

Good points and I've also used AI to brainstorm on stocks. For example my last interaction with AI - ChatGPT Premium - he offered me 3 stocks, out of which only 1 performed good. Thus, we need to do more diligence when picking a stock with any AI assistance. But it was a good brainstorming nevertheless.
I have used perplexity AI before and it’s quite good as you’ve said.
Not relying entirely on AI to make decision is key.

Prepexity is cool just for a year for free but grok does the same thing and Gemini too , most the AI can access real time data

AI can be a great tool for gathering info quickly, but the right way is always doing your own homework before making moves. I see it at best a support not the final word
