There are many hive users who still dont know about #Hive-Engine and how to use the swap feature in it. In this post I will guide step by step about how to use hive engine and how to swap different tokens. Its very simple and I have tried to make you guys understand with the help of pictures.

First of all you have to open https://hive-engine.com/ and sign in with the same hive user account. You can do it by using hive keychain or hivesigner. After login you will see the interface as shown in the first picture. In the right corner upside you will see different feature options which will take you to your desired need.

WHY IS HIVE-ENGINE USED?

Its very must to understand why there are some platforms which are necessary to use. There are hive users who are only connected to the posting and inside the hive ecosystem. But I prefer to use the each and every platform which supports the ecosystem.

Hive Engine is the platform where you can check the tokens in your wallet which you earned. You may noted that people use some specific tags such as #neoxian #waivio #pimp #ctp #arcadecolony and many more. This is because they want to get the upvote from those communities and in order to earn all these tokens.

Your token earnings are deposited in your hive engine wallet where you can later sell and transfer against any coin. The main purpose of Hive-Engine is to allow you trade tokens, use swap feature which allows you to swap any token to any token, get HP lease and use liquidity pool options which allows you earn best APR profits. I will surely make a detail post about how to use the liquidity swap pool and how to earn good income there.

GRASP THE CONCEPT OF THE SWAP FEATURE

In Hive-Engine, you will get to see an option with the name swap. You will see the interface as shown in the picture. You will get to see an option "FROM" which allows you to swap any token you want to select. As you can see in the picture I have selected @swap.hive (you can select any of the token you want to swap)

The next option is to select the other token you want to swap in, I have chosen (SCRIPT) token which is the stable coin of #arcadecolony. These days I am playing #MoonKarts game and I need to buy more of #COLONY and #SCRIPT token. That is why I chose to buy some Script token so that to buy NFT cards which will help me upgrade my Kart and Driver.

The next step is to choose the amount of (SWAP.HIVE) you want to swap. I selected 7.67 swap.hive and I am getting around 5.08 script token which is equal to $1.56.

SLIPPAGE

Its very important part of the swap. Slippage allows you for fast or slow transaction. It also depends upon the liquidity, if it is high you will have swap very quickly but there are some times less liquidity and that will surely take time to fill your order.

In the slippage option, you will have choice selecting from 1-5%. The lower you select the slippage % the quicker you will execute your swap. Lets take an example of #HBD. Let suppose I have chosen 1% slippage, your order will trigger between the price 0.99 to 1.01 because you chosen 1%.

But if you choose 5%, then you order will trigger between 0.95 to 1.05. In short the smaller slippage% the quicker the trade. That is why I recommend to select the slippage at 1%.

CONFIRM THE SWAP (HIVE KEYCHAIN)

The very last step is to confirm you swap using hive keychain. You need to add your active and posting key with hive keychain for this process. Click on confirm and your swap order is done. This is the very simple method of how to swap tokens. I hope you understand it very well.
