I plan to Buy One more Validator Node license in Splinterlands

Splinterlands is a leading blockchain game and it is growing even in this bear market whereas some other games are having a tough time. This brings a question that why others are struggling whereas this game is doing well and building a lot of things in the ecosystem. As far as I'm aware then I think the amount of development and engagement with the community are the two things that play an important role. I'm happy to share that the splinterland is able to manage both things in a better way and this is what helps them grow whereas other projects are lacking in this area and this is why they are having a hard time probably.

Driving decentralization in the Game

Now this project has grown a lot and it is moving towards decentralization where the ownership will remain in the hands of the community and not with a few people. This is going to be a bigger step in the game but this will also bring more transparency and distributed ownership to the project. We can say once that happens then every player or investor will be an owner in the game. Its like the hive where we have no any company or owner that owns instead the community is the owner and the same will be happening with splinterlands as well.

The sale for license what is started last year and is still ongoing but it's not enabled in the game. It is highly expected that this will be enabled this year and once that happens then the node owners are going to play an important role in the game because they will be the ones running the project. There will be thousands of node operators so dependency will not be on one or more players instead the entire community is going to be part of it whoever owns the validator node license.

Buying a License is even better

north validator license is an expensive asset in the game but I was able to secure one somehow and happy to say that it is one of the best decisions taken at the right time. Although the price in the market is low as compared to what I paid six months back I cannot ignore the rewards received in this. And it is much more than the gap in price. In any market prices cannot be fixed because this is the nature of the market so up and down is part of any market. If we buy the license from the game shop then it is expensive because one has to pay almost 98k sps along with 500 vouchers but this is available at approx 2500 hive in hive-engine.

I did buy one for 2k USD and I still want to buy one more and waiting for the right pricing opportunity. Sometimes waiting for the right time can bring an opportunity where we get something far unbelievable prize and the same I am expecting with another license. I am not sure when I will get that opportunity to buy another license but I am trying to keep close track of the price in the market and whenever I will find the better pricing then we'll go ahead and buy one. The purchase of a license will be a long-term investment for me because I believe this will bring more value in the long run especially when the lands are alive in the game. It is hard to predict the sps price but one thing is sure it will be much more valuable in the next few years and at that time license will be the only asset to generate SPS in the game.

Currently, the buyer price is 2150 whereas the seller has listed this for 2430 and if it goes below 2000 hive then I will try to enter. I am trying to arrange some hive and hopefully, by that time I should be able to arrange the funds so let's when this becomes a reality.
