Our Little Wonder Woman: A Backyard Photoshoot Filled with Love ❤️

Children bring so much happiness in our lives, and for me, that happiness is my niece, Verby. She is my sister’s daughter, and she is like my own child already. Verby is always here at my house. And I enjoy every moment I spend with her. Her presence brings joy and lot of beautiful memories. Since her mother used to work as an OFW, Verby grew up under my care, that is why we are so close, and our bond is very special.

Verby is a cheerful, playful and sweet little girl. She loves to pose in front of the camera, and I love taking pictures of her. Every smile, every funny face and every pose, I try to capture them all. These pictures are not just for me, they are also my way of updating her parents, especially her mother about how she’s doing. I know it makes her parents happy when they see her pictures and how she is growing up beautifully. I always say, photos are the best way to keep memories alive.

Now that her birthday is coming soon on July 20, 2025, I am already preparing something special for her. As my gift, I am making a tarpaulin for her birthday celebration. It’s a simple way to show my love for her and to make her feel how special she is. This little surprise will surely make her smile.

Recently, I dressed her up as Wonder Woman. I thought it would be fun to have a little photoshoot, and she really enjoyed it! She posed like a real superhero – brave and strong. Every capture was full of energy and happiness, she laughed a lot and showed how much she love and happy with her costume. Seeing her that happy also made me feel proud and blessed. She is my little Wonder Woman, not just because of her costume, but because of how strong and bright she has become even at a young age.

Raising Verby since she is 2years old while her mother worked abroad was not always easy, but it was worth it. The love I have for her is pure and unconditional, now that her mom is back, I still feel the same closeness to her. I will always treasure our time together and I will continue to make more memories with her through simple but meaningful things.

During my single years, my greatest happiness has always been my nieces and nephews. They filled my days with hugs and unforgettable moments. Even no, they often visit me, and their presence still brings so much joy to my life. Back when I was till working in the corporate world, I would always go grocery shopping and buy them toys or new clothes. Every birthday I was the one preparing everything, I bought the cakes, balloons and sometimes even the set up. This is my way of showing love to them.
