This is an article written for the #julyinleo writing prompt series with today being Day 6....
Today's topic could quite aptly be described as a Photogenic Topic!

Day 3! This one goes to the Photographers Community! Take some photos of your surroundings or comfort spaces and share your stories about it!
Drop your posts on the Photographers Community!
We moved to this town and flat we are in now because of its location. I can walk out the front door and in ten minutes my feet can be on the sand of the beach.
Or I can walk out the front door and in seven minutes my feet can be on the grass of this park that I have chosen as my comfort space for this article.
I am sure many of you have seen my antics articles in my main account, well today to help celebrate this new community set up by @sergiomendes we are posting in the Photographers Community!
It does not matter the time of year, there is always something to see or do in the park. Right now of course, we are meant to be in the height of a UK summer. But it is all doom gloom, nature sympathising with the general malaise around another set of corrupt egotistical politicians running the country.
As you can see the trees are in fully clothed mode! So it must be summer ...
Up ahead you can just see a little circular clearing....
It is a peace garden to celebrate the different religious faiths around the place.
To the right of the peace garden is the boat bond.
During COVID the birds really took it over and there was a pair of mute swans who ruled the roost so to speak.
That was Susie and Steve Swan and their pie children. Unfortunately Steve passed away earlier this year.
I love to speak to them and feed them.
Do me a favour though ....
It is not good for them, there are no nutrients that they need and in fact it fucks their digestive system. So don't do it.
I get some food from Amazon.
There are some gorgeous wooded trails ...
When the sun shines through the leaves and foliage it is so pretty.
What do you think?
Yes we do ....
Do you want to see him?
Ah well, perhaps in a thread, of course I have shown him plenty of times on my main account...
Not only a wizard but we have our mini waterfalls on the wood trails ...
Have a look at this ...
And animals. well what would a park be with out animals.
And what would and InLeo post be without some LIONS ....
Yes we have two lions guarding one entrace to the park, I think there are about eight ways to enter the park...
Do you know the lions are over a hundred years old!
Then we have a fountain that the Mayor gifted to his wife Mrs Beveridge.
The ground for the park was actually donated to the town by Mr Beveridge the Mayor hence the name Beveridge Park.
Appranently Mrs Beveridge wanted some green psaces where the public could come for walks and enjoy nature.
Now you can see why it is my happy place, my comfortable place to come to at any time.
Of course after a nice summer's walk, what better to finish than a nice cream in the park!
Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend.

Thank you so much for the love and support and for choosing to post this on our community :D The photos look great and so does the park, whenever the sun is out I do love me a park walk as well :D
Yeah it is awesome when the sun is out, but I will feed the birds in all weathers, good to get out and the park has different season to be photographed too!
That's pretty sweet looking! They should make a disc golf course on the property!
hehe one day I will try out your disc golf!
You have paradise within reach, Tito Ed :) The park reminded me of Sammy the Squirrel hehe.
By the way, thanks for the tip about what not to feed the ducks or swans ❤️ .
hehe yes that is the park of Sammy the squirrel and his new relatives CJ!
Yes we all have our little bits of paradise close to us, and yes I am forever telling people in the park to bring them something nutritious, even lettuce is better than bread and does not wreck their insides.
