Spring is a great time for exploring natural scenic areas, where you can experience the ultimate changes in nature in a way that you can never realize from anywhere else. Huairou is a northern district of the Beijing Municipality, and it is a place of natural beauty. The whole district is covered with many mountain forests, lakes, rivers, and canals. Everywhere you go here, you will find lakes, mountains, and many beautiful parks, especially in the northern region where most of the residents of the district live. Also, this tiny part of the district has the city vibes, but in other places in the far north, you will find only some mountain villages, many tourist attractions, and many resorts surrounding the scenic area.
Just after entering the district, you will find the Huairou city center within a 5-10 km distance from Beijing downtown. And after the city center, you can go straight for around 100 km, and you will still be in the Huairou district. But these areas are mainly the mountains and lakes, and many scenic areas for tourists to explore the natural beauty. The good thing is that you can find adequate public transport to travel to that area, and the bus journey through these very high mountain bridges and several tunnels will make your journey enjoyable. I have already written about this area, and today I am going to take you to Huairou Forest Park, which is not in the mountains but is very close to the city area in the southern part of the city.
The eastern side of the park has a large water body, which can be considered as a large pond, which will be more beautiful when it is full of lotus with different colors and water lilies, as currently those plants are visible on the water surface.
As the location of the park is not far from my living dormitory, I chose to cycle there. The distance from my institute is around 4 km, and it takes around 20 minutes for me to go there. It was in the afternoon, so the sun was not so hot, but the weather was clear, and the air quality was also very good that day. It was not on my holiday but on a work day, so I went there in the late afternoon after my office work. Also, the golden light from the late afternoon sun makes the surroundings more attractive than at any other time.
It is quite a large park, and it has no entry ticket, as most forest parks in China do not have entry tickets. This is a great facility for people to have an afternoon or morning workout in nature without any trouble. Though it is free to enter, the whole park area is neat and clean, and there are enough workers to take care of this large park. Also, the people here are very responsible, and the closed-circuit cameras everywhere ensure the safety of the park.
After crossing the huge ponds, I found an area where so many mountains were put in some aesthetic design beside the water canal. Some spots are arranged beautifully to create some water-well-like structures, and the views of them by the crystal clear water make another level of stunning art. Moreover, the golden sunlight also played an important role in making the views more enjoyable and soothing with its beauty.
The newly born green lushes of the trees and the abstract planning of the park create a greater place for outdoor activity. I have seen many people doing many kind of activities. I have seen many children playing with the water, walking in their inner routes, some were also fishing in the huge pond. But I think there are not so many fish in the lake as I have never seen any fish motion in the water there.
I have seen many kinds of trees which are not known to me as I have very bad experience with botany and biology in my high school life! But I am very much attracted by them at this phase of life when I visit this kind of natural scenic spot. The whole park is full of trees, but fewer flower plants than I have seen in some other parks.
As it is spring, the trees also have many flowers in the parks. As this post is already going much bigger, I will write another blog post about the floral beauty of the forest park in the coming days. There are new leaves of different colors for some trees. And some of them have become different colors with their flowers and fruits due to the spring awakening of these trees.
There is also a huge shade for visitors to rest in the park, and restrooms inside the area. The shade structure is beautiful, as they tried to fuse it with their traditional building structures. As I was quite late, I didn't sit there, but I spent the whole time exploring the park.
In conclusion, the park was a huge park with a great collection of trees and so many beautiful spots to explore the natural beauty that I have skipped in this blog, such as the ground flower grasses, and the canal bridge, which looks beautiful that I have seen when I was leaving the park.
I hope you like my beautiful photos of the Spring beauty of Huairou Forest Park in the Huairou City, where I am currently living. This area will definitely soothe anyone's heart with its excellent natural beauty and the serenity of the large pond and green lushes. The fresh weather and the excellent air quality was also enjoyable, making great use of my afternoon. If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them as much as I can afford.
Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wishing you a good day!
I took all the photos, and these are my own property.

Thanks!
It seems to me a suitable place for nature tourism and an exceptional option to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities.
Huairou Forest Park has many incentives for activities as you explain, but, in one part of the publication you say that you did not seem to see fish and it seems to me that with the amount of water in shelves, lakes could be a good option that could be planted fry to grow and those who go there may have in fishing another recreational option.
Thanks for sharing.
Very nice pictures and very illustrative.
Happy Thursday.
Cheers and greetings.
Yeah, their fishing was just for recreational. I am glad that you like my publication. Thanks for stopping by!

assalam alaykum! @tanzil2024 !
Hassan!
I always admire your great talent for discovering beautiful scenes and capturing them in photographs!
The Chinese like to create mountain ranges with large, beautiful rocks in their gardens because they equate rocks with mountains!
By the way, Do you think that the trees and flowers in China have a different charm from those in Bangladesh because they have different colors depending on the season?
I think that temperate zone plants have more diverse and beautiful colors than tropical zone plants!
It is interesting to know that. I think both areas have different charms and I feel al are beautiful. Thanks for your informative comment.
Wow! The water, so still that it mirrors the sun and trees perfectly. The nature paused to capture its own beauty. Nice photos!😍
Yeah, the park is so beautiful, especially the water body make it more capturing. Thanks for stopping by!
