I have visited so many parks in northern Beijing, where the natural beauty is really fascinating, with the amazing mountain ranges, scenic lakeside views, green forest areas, and so many natural scenic spots are scattered here and there in the whole northern area of the Beijing municipality. Initially, I thought southern Beijing would be less attractive, but the Nanhaizi park has changed my thoughts, and I was amazed by the breathtaking beauty of this park. This park is also one of the largest parks in this region, and it is a great place for a single-day tour with the beauty of nature.
I have visited the park in the middle of December when it is fully winter time, and so I found very few people in the large park. The temperature in Beijing has dropped to very low levels, as it was already mid-December. As a netizen of the tropical region, such freezing cold is always so irritating for me, but the natural beauty and bright sun made me enjoying my tour to this park. In such a bright and sunny day I can easily enjoy some winter activities that such as the walking in the sun, and cycling in the nature in the northern region.

The location of the Nanhaizi park is quite far from my living area. As the word 'Nan' means the south according to the Chinese language. So, it can easily be understood that it is in the southern area of the city and it has some old historical values in the history of Beijing. Though the most important imperial parks and gardens are located in the central area of Beijing, and some of them are also in the Beijing municipality. Such imperial spots are not so many in the southern areas.
The first noticeable thing that I have noticed is that there are no mountain views in this vast plain area of the city. The natural surroundings were also very clean, with very good weather and extremely clean air, and the bright sun and deep blue sky, free of clouds, made the surroundings beautiful. I forgot how freezing cold it was and enjoyed taking some photos in the street by the river, which was so enjoyable. I have enjoyed walking there with this view for a while, and it was a great winter walk.

The winter season is very dry and cold here, with no leaves on the trees and no plants on the ground. Everything is dried, and the colorful nature turns to a mix of grey and brown. Sometimes the trees are so dry that they turn blackish. The area of Park I have visited is large enough that you can visit the different parts throughout the day. The park is a large park, and it is impossible to cover the entire area in a visit.
But the winter has its own charm, with the clear sky and naked branches of the trees, which make for an iconic winter view, and I love those views in the park and forest areas. As this region is so far from city life, I have experienced immense emptiness here, with no community or crowds, unlike many places. I have found the whole area full of empty places, and the forest area is also so empty without people most of the time.

As the park is full of natural resources, the lakeside areas of the park are always so beautiful, where the surrounding views are eye-catching. The way to the park has a lot of routes for enjoying a long walk, and I found it a little bit empty, not crowded even on the weekend.
In conclusion, I want to tell that this park is a large park with a big portion of the park is covered by many lakes which are connected with each other with so many beautiful bridges which are often a great place for enjoying photography session. I think the summer beauty will be another level of beauty with the green forest areas and the green forests with higher level of water that is now at the lowest level in the winter season.

I hope you enjoy my photos of the beautiful Nanhaizi Park and its stunning views in the Daxing district of the Beijing municipality, which is located in southern Beijing, a far area from my living area. The natural scenes and bright sunny surroundings in the wintertime were so beautiful with such clean and clear weather when I visited the park in mid-December. The views were marvelous from every angle, with the clean sky and the faded colour of the trees, grasses, and plants in the lakeside areas of the park. If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them as much as I can.
Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wishing you a good day!
I took all the photos, and these are my own property.
