Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well!
Today, I will be sharing the continuation of my Alcoy travel. As promised, the next part will be going to the mountain where the Anor Poultry Farm is located. Before I proceed to Part 4, here's the link for Part 1, Part 2and Part 3 if ever you missed it. 😀
The best place to raise poultry is far from residences and much better in the mountain to avoid disturbances to the community.
Let me now continue my story.
After we had our swimming at the beach, we go to the mountain to visit the Anor Poultry Farm. We ride a motorcycle going to the about about 10 minutes. The family host of my vacation bring us there to see their poultry farm and to harvest some eggs.
When we arrived at the mountain, we walked about five minutes from the road. As we are walking from the road going to the poultry farm, I love the lushly green sorroundings. It's so fresh and relaxing being there. The view is really beautiful.
As we are getting nearer at the farm, I can hear the noise of the poultry and the I can smell the strong smell of the Poultry. 😁
Before we reached the poultry house, some of the falling trees can be seen around that was caused by typhoon Odette.
When we are at the poultry house, I can hear the noise of the poultry and their strong smell. 😁
The chicken manure gives the strong smell at the poultry house as well as the feeds of the poultry. The time we visited, the chicken manure are not yet taken by the farmers who clean it. In return, the chicken manure will be given to the farmers for free as their natural fertilizer for their farmland.
We saw a lot of eggs for harvest at that hour. The owner started from 100 pieces of laying chickens. Now, they have 450 pieces laying chickens. They got more or less 20 trays of harvested eggs everyday. And they sell it to their contacted customers. There are some walk-in customers, too.
I am helping the owner in harvesting the eggs. I do enjoy doing it together with the kids. 😀
While we are harvesting, the owner segregates the sizes of the eggs into small, medium and large. The prices of the eggs differ from its sizes. He also separates those broken eggs. It will not be sold but for their own consumption only.
I really had fun while I am at the poultry house. 😀
Their poultry business is at the best location in the mountain. It is far from the residences and most importantly doesn't disturb the community.
That's all for today's travel blog. [//]:# (!pinmapple 9.711077 lat 123.464909 long Anor Poultry Farm d3scr)
