After returning from a Daloona Restaurant at night, we parked the car outside the hotel. The atmosphere was serene and relaxing, which helped us to shake off our tiredness from the previous day.
We had reserved a breakfast buffet for half-past eight in the morning. As we got ready, our children joined us in our room.
Excitement was in the air, but unfortunately, my favorite cold smoked salmon and Herring were not included in the menu. Even though, we all had a good laugh during breakfast.
My daughter @ilma-ansari and I even had an orange-eating competition, which she won fair and square. It was definitely a fun morning!
Upon leaving the hotel, I spotted a paper on our car windscreen and discovered that we had got a parking fine. While this news could have put a damper on our day, I chose not to let it bother me and decided to deal with it later. Besides, I was optimistic that my fellow bloggers who follow my travel experiences would provide love to cover the fine (just kidding).
With our family friends being waterfall enthusiasts, I couldn't resist the opportunity to take them to witness the breathtaking waterfall flowing in the residential area of Hövslätt. Having been there with our kids in 2019, I knew exactly how to reach the uphill waterfall. We parked our car at the Hembygdsgården parking lot in Hovslätt and began our walk on the Hassafallsleden trail.
As we made our way, we eventually reached a bridge where two rivers converged, and the water continued to flow with us until we finally arrived at the majestic waterfall.
Although the path to the waterfall is short, I have a deep fondness for it because of the variety it offers. There are steep climbs, narrow paths, stairs, bridges, and spans, all of which add to the excitement of the journey. However, the trail can be challenging to walk on and is not recommended for those with prams amd strollers. The area is quite hilly, and there are several spots where steep steps must be climbed, making it all the more adventurous.
Nevertheless, we climbed this trail along with my friend's two young children. It was the first time for me that I took care of my friend's 4-year-old son apart from my own children. And holding his hand I reached the waterfall. It was a memorable hike.
After reaching the top, we reached the other side of the waterfall through the bridge built above the waterfall. From there, a path led to the road. I asked my family and my friend's family to reach the parking lot down the road.
Saif and I then cautiously followed the flowing water downstream. The path was blocked after a short distance, but after some effort, we were able to cross the barrier and make it to the parking lot to reunite with our
