I have always wanted to go out and visit places but due to my busy schedule I just usually eyeing for good spots and just hoping someday I could personally visit them.

Finally today, I got to put a check on one of the places I wanted to visit and listed in my bucket list. I finally got to visit one of the famous cold spring in Jaro, Leyte- the Jagusais Cold Spring.

It is one of Jaro Leyte's pride attraction and located at Brgy. Canhandugan, Jaro, Leyte. Since it is a cold spring it is a must to visit during summer or on a hot weather.
How to get there?
It is accessible through the diversion road that connects Jaro Leyte and Ormoc Leyte. As of the moment, there are no public transport that passes through the spot so it is advisable to come with a private vehicle. It is like a hidden gem. From the parking area, you would still need to spend at most 15-20 minute walk or trek passing a grassy and rough terrain. It is like passing through a forest and you will get to encounter different plant species. It would be a bit challenging to come on a rainy season because the path could be really muddy.

Getting inside
Before getting in, you would need to pay an entrance fee of 50.00 and avail their cottage rental that ranges from 300-1000 pesos. Upon going inside you would be amazed by the cleanliness and beauty of the place. The place is sorrounded by trees and many floral plants that makes the ambiance cooler. I truly find the landscape amazing. I personally like the bridge landscape and the bench area. There are many beautiful areas where you could take nice pictures be it solo or by group. There are also swimmng rules. You are allowed to bring food inside and it is recommended to bring your own water and food because they are selling limited goods and there are no other stores nearby. There are no restaurants too. There is no mobile reception in the site but they have a piso wifi or internet vendo where you can drop at least a peso and then you will get connected to the internet.

I really appreciate the pool area. It is very clean and clear. I also observed that the pool is chlorinated. And since it is a cold spring, so expect that the water is also cold. Actually it is freezing cold. It even took me an hour before I fully submerged in the water. It is a best place to come during a hot weather. The pool has also different depth measurement. There is a very deep area but there is also a shallow one which is best for kids and people who do not know how to swim like me. Haha. Though, they also have a floating vest for rent. They also have clean comfort rooms and abundant water. There is also a place for grilling.

If you want to have a souvenir to remember the place you can also buy from here. You can buy a bracelet and even have it modified according to your preference.
I really had a great time at Jagusais Cold spring.
