Hello Travelers!
After spending the day exploring different places in Malta, our day one adventure ends at San Anton Gardens located in Attars, Malta.

San Anton Gardens is one of the most beautiful and oldest gardens in Malta. With a beautiful fountain, colorful flowers, oldest trees and shady walking paths.

The first thing that caught my eye when we arrived at San Anton Garden was the walking paths beside it were the old trees.
The name of the iconic tree is Moreton Bay fig (Ficus macrophylla), commonly referred to as the Australian banyan. The iconic tree has a huge trunk and big roots. It already spread out along the garden pathways.

We simply walked around the garden pathways. There are animals like pigeons, chickens, roosters and peacocks.
Walking around the garden and the trees gave us shades under the sun was so peaceful and relaxing. What I liked was there were benches everywhere. For sure anyone will visit the place they could sit here for hours just enjoying the view.

As I walked through the garden, the atmosphere was different compared to the other places we visited. There were no big crowds and we could simply walk around and enjoy our remaining time before we went home to our apartment.
Aya had the best time running around the pathways. There were pigeons the she really likes and admiring at the ducks and peacocks. While we were sitting and looking Aya, she was busy chasing the pigeons with so much joy. It was a simple moment and seeing Aya as a happy kid in the garden was all that mattered.

The foundation was the centerpiece of the garden and even though it was old it was still beautiful.
Behind the fountain there was a limestone wall. It has an elegant and classic appearance.
Malta has so many beautiful buildings and structures made from honey colored limestone. I really appreciate the craftsmanship and seeing its details up close was so stunning.

The sky was clear and blue, made everything look beautiful. That's the time I took photos for our memories.
I really enjoyed our stay in the garden- I love the simple scenery, the beautiful weather and full of character.
We didn't rush, we just enjoyed the last trip of our day. Our sightseeing is not about visiting the biggest attraction. I really appreciate this simple moment with my family.
It was time to go home, but before that we needed to return the car we rented. Aya was tired and hungry but still smiling.

San Anton Gardens was the perfect place to end our adventure for the day. It isn't as big as other places in Malta but still worth it to visit. If you want quiet places, enjoy simple beauty and just slow down. Our day one in Malta ended, we went to different beautiful places, full of moments that we'll never forget. But our Maltese adventure was just the beginning I share with you guys.
I’m excited to share our adventures. Another beautiful day that awaits us. And I can’t wait to share it with you.
