A Simple Family Moments: Celebrating Life Filled with Love and Beauty of Komárno.

Hello Travelers! 👋

This is my story for today, a special day with my family.

I turned 40 years old last 19th of June. The day of my birthday we just had dinner outside with my family. I want to celebrate my special day with my in-laws, husband's brother and his family. Birthday's are special, it must be better on the exact day.

But sometimes life gets so busy and I couldn't celebrate it on the exact day. We have different schedules and my celebrations have to wait. Although I felt thankful because they sent me messages.

My husband called them, asked if they were available at that time and then he made a reservation at the restaurant. And finally everyone was available and we wanted to spend time together.

That day finally arrived after weeks of waiting. It's not always like this, complete, simple being together and it's the best gift.

We visited Apáli Restaurant and Pension for our family lunch. We like the place because it's beautifully located beside the peaceful Mŕtve rameno Váhu and also known as the Dead Branch of the Váh River.

A beautiful Saturday weekend, calm surroundings when we arrived. The gentle breeze, the tall green trees, and the sparkling river created a wonderful atmosphere.

Everyone arrived, greeted me and they bought gifts. While waiting for our food, we talked about life, work, school vacations and happy conversations. So fast forward, the food arrived and it was so delicious.

After finishing our meal, we decided to go for a walk and we enjoyed the afternoon. We didn't like to leave immediately and took advantage of the beautiful day. What's nice about the place is that they also have a playground.

Kids are running who come first and use the swing. And us, we walked slowly and laughing at kids

The sky was a perfect shade of blue, with the fluffy white clouds floating and sunshine made everything better. What a beautiful day on the day of my celebration??!!!.

From afar, the river was sparkling under the sun and it was a perfect afternoon for a calm walk by the water.

As we followed the pathway, the gentle sound of the birds chirping replaced the sound of everyday life and it was like music to our ears. Kids are happy and enjoying the simple pleasures of little joys of being a kid. The playground was their kingdom and pure joy on their faces. Children laughed happily creating joyful sounds filled the air. It was a perfect place to enjoy the weekend.

Not the kids are enjoying, many families enjoy the beautiful afternoon. Some were swimming just to escape the summer heat and others relaxed under the shade of the trees.

As we continued walking, we also saw colorful pedals floating across the river.It was a picture perfect landscape and this kind of view was exactly what we needed to heal from days of working.

I felt grateful for another year, for my family, good health and I thanked God for the blessings coming along the way. Our simple celebration and afternoon by the Váh River became one of my favorite memories.

Life may become busy but moments like these remind us to appreciate simple things. Thank you, June 19 for another wonderful year of life. Even though it was late for my celebration, spending time and creating memories was so precious with our family.
