Today, I had the opportunity to walk on the fascinating Stone Road and explore nature in the depths of the Dark Canyon in Kemaliye, one of Erzincan's unique natural wonders. During this experience, I immortalized these beauties with the photos I took and had the chance to get to know this hidden natural paradise of Turkey more closely.

Stone Road: An Engineering Marvel and Traces of History
Kemaliye's Stone Road is known as a proof of human determination and intelligence against the harsh natural conditions of the region. This road, which has a history of 132 years, has survived to the present day thanks to the efforts of the people of Kemaliye during its construction. Walking on this road, which was carved out of high cliffs and is quite narrow in places, gives one the feeling of a journey through time extending from the past to the present.

The Stone Road extends parallel to the steep slope of the canyon and offers unique views throughout the walk. While walking, it was a great pleasure to watch the magnificent view where the blue waters of the Euphrates River met the hard rocks with every step. As I progressed through the narrow passages of the road, I felt tiny in front of the power of nature, but at the same time, it was impossible not to be enchanted by these views.

Dark Canyon: The Grandeur of Nature and the Center of Adrenaline
Immediately after the Stone Road, I went to Dark Canyon, one of the favorite routes of nature enthusiasts. Dark Canyon is known as one of the largest canyons in the world and offers a magical atmosphere to its visitors with its depths. As I walk between the steep rocks and deep valleys of the canyon, the cool waters of the Euphrates River accompany the coolness of the canyon.

The "dark" air that the canyon gets its name from creates a mysterious atmosphere with the shadows of the rocks and the sunlight filtering through the narrow passages. During the walk, sometimes I walked along the edge of the river, and sometimes I was enchanted by nature by watching the view from the rocks. As we entered the canyon, the sound of the wind flowing through the rocks and the peace created by the flow of the river provided an ideal atmosphere to get away from the noise of the city.

These two natural wonders of Kemaliye more than meet the expectations of both those looking for adventure and those who want to spend a peaceful day. The photos I took will always remind me of these moments I experienced with the historical texture of Taş Yol and the fascinating nature of Darkness Canyon.
