On the fifth day of our Andaman trip we have booked the cruise from Havelock Island to Neil Island in the morning and then after visiting some of the main places of Neil Island we have booked the cruise back from Neil Island to Port Blair.
In all the travel we have never thought of visiting the Sun Rise, so the first thing I have done is to wake up early in the morning and then visited a beach nearby on Havelock Island to have a look at the Sunrise. It's debatable on which is better Sunset or Sunrise, for me both are equally mesmerizing. As we were really tired from the previous day as we have done the Water Activities on Havelock, so no one in my group was interested to join me in the morning to see the sunrise.
So I decided to visit it alone and then took my phone and went to the nearby beach. It was a low tide and thus I had to walk nearly 200-300 meters from the beach toward the sea to have the full look at the Sunrise.
This was the look of the sky when I first visited the beach in the morning. It was surreal, very beautiful and mesmerizing.
The sea was calm and which was making the whole look as calm as possible.
After this, I went to my room and then after getting ready we have taken the Makruzz (a cruise) from Havelock Island to Neil Island. It was a smooth one hour journey and then we have reached there by around 11'o clock. As we had the cruise from Neil at 3 PM, we had only 4 hours to visit Neil.
The Neil Island is also known as Shaheed Dweep, which belongs to the south part of the Andaman. Here mostly people who have come to India from Bangladesh settled here, which means they mostly speak the Bengali Language, and I being born and bought in West Bengal it was easier for me to converse with them. Though they knew Hindi well too.
We first visited Bharatpur Beach, which is the main beach on Neil Island. It also has a lot of water activities, but since we have done all the water activities in Havelock we just spent some time here and then headed towards the main attraction point i.e. Natural Bridge.
The coincidence is that it is also known as Howrah Bridge just like the famous Howrah Bridge in Kolkata. It is located near Laxman Pur Beach and it is one of the best places to see the mystery of nature and have some nice clicks. This natural bridge is formed by years and years of water flow from the rocky hill nearly.
The water is really clean out here and thus you will feel the cool breeze in your body when you sit inside that natural bridge. Overall it was a nice little visit and we have to trek for some time to visit here. A note for future travellers that you should take a pair of shoes from the huts for rent as because it might be a possibility that your slipper or shoes might tear as that was the case with my wife.
After that, we have visited the Laxman Pur beach which was just a random beach and thus we have not spent much time there, had coconut water and came back to the ferry ghat to catch our cruise to go back to Port Blair. With this our 3 day trip to Havelock and Neil is over and thus our next two days will be spent exploring other places in Andamans.
Overall it was a good day to spend and see some of the natural beauties which are very hard to find in our daily life.
