What Made Me Happy Today

Hello everyone!

Today I want to share the three simple things that made me happy and grateful this day.

First up is the leche flan.

My mother-in-law bought some and thought of us. She has always been so sweet and thoughtful like that, never forgetting to share good things with us. We don’t get to eat leche flan very often, so this was such a nice treat. Ever since I was a little kid, this has been my favorite dessert at any party. I would always look for it on the table, and eating it again today made me happy.

Second, is this little visitor. A Painted Lichen Moth.

It was so beautiful and eye-catching, with bright vibrant colors of orange, red, and black. It's truly stunning to look at. And you know what... I learned something interesting about this kind of insect. Once these moths become adults, they actually stop eating and only live for about one to two weeks. So knowing that, made me really glad we got to see and admire its beauty before it goes away for good. Such a short life, but so colorful and wonderful while it lasts.

Then last but not least… money.

Hahaha, who wouldn’t be happy to have some extra cash, right?

But this joy is only temporary. After holding it and snapping a photo, it will disappear in seconds as we use it for bills and daily needs. Haha. That’s just the reality of life. So saving a little is always a smart choice, so we don’t end up empty-handed.

And that’s my day.
