Hello, my lovely hivefam😄💚! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Today, I'd love to share a little food experience from my filipino kitchen. Sometimes, we don't need to go out or spend much money to enjoy something delicious. Here I am, presenting a simple homemade "Ginataang Bilo-bilo" from my lazy afternoon snack🥥🍡!

I began by preparing the glutinous rice flour and shaping the small dough balls by hand😊. It was a simple process, but making each bilo-bilo gave me that satisfying feeling of preparing something from scratch.

And for some extra info, bilo-bilo comes from the filipino word "bilog" which means round😅.

I also prepared the other ingredients, including sweet corn, sago, and the creamy coconut milk mixture, which brought everything together.

As the ingredients cooked in our rice cooker, the kitchen slowly filled with the comforting aroma of coconut milk. It smells so nice! I was drooling already from just smelling the aroma😂!

And watching the small rice balls cook and float in the creamy mixture made me even more excited to taste the finished snack😋.

There’s just a different kind of happiness when you the food you're about to eat was made with your own hands😍!

And that's me trying the food and I almost burned my tongue from the first bite because I forgot it was still hot😂. But it was very delicious especially the small balls because it's chewy and taste so good with the corn bits🌽!
