The river roar, a symphony of rage
Throwing tantrum, showcasing her vexation
On her territory is her beloved friend
A pirate , whose joy lies in the storm
I am the storm, he boast
The sea the pirate's friend
The roars of storm, his melody
Let the wave rage and let me dance
On the desk, the Captain stood
His gaze at the storm, his hands on the wheel
Prepare for a ride, Aye! The boarders shout
But the storm stood on his wheel, with a smile so strong
I am the storm, he boast
The sea the pirate's friend
But unknowingly the river was against her own
Like a hit from a cannon, the ship came to her knee wrecking at the wave's roar
I feel the impassioned tone of the poem very fitting for the evocative subject matter although, can I ask, what do you think s the central theme because it's not entirely clear if it's the pirate, the storm or their relationship. The answer might provide a little more focus.
The pirate's confidence
