A Camping Surprise
I see a blue tent and I feel whoever had set it up was there for camping.
Today is the day I get to take Martha camping. Martha has always wanted to go camping. She talks so much about it and wrote it down on her bucket list.
As Martha’s boyfriend I must make her happy and if going camping would do that I’d be more than happy to do it.
Martha doesn’t know that we are going camping, it’s a surprise and I can’t wait to see her reaction when we get there. My girlfriend is so smart and has a way of always ruining my plans but not today as I made sure to cover all loose ends.
Martha thinks she’s coming to spend the weekend at my place while in real sense we are going camping.
I packed everything we needed in the camping bag, I tried my best not to forget anything, I wouldn’t want to ruin such a beautiful experience.
I checked the time and it was 4:00 pm, I needed to go pick Martha up, it was going to be a long ride to the campsite site so I needed to hurry up.
Hitting the accelerator I drove fast, I couldn’t wait to see my Martha, the woman that I have come to love unconditionally.
In no time, I was at Martha’s house. “I’m here hun, you want me to come in?” I said.
“Oh shit! That was so fast, did you fly down here?” She replied shockingly.
“For you, I’ll do anything, my love,” I said sweetly.
“Oh lover boy hold it right there, I’ll be down in 10.”
“Okay love, I’ll be right here.” I ended the call.
Feeling excited about our camping experience, I waited patiently for my girlfriend.
In no time time Martha came down and we made our way to our destination.
All through the ride Martha kept asking where we were going but I only smiled. “It’s a surprise babe, stop with the questions”.
We finally got to our destination. The look in Martha’s eyes was priceless. She stared at the blue tent in front of us and back at me.
“You did this? How? When?” She shook me.
“Anything for you princess”. I said
“Thank you so much,” she replied.
We had fun, our camping experience was fantastic and I was glad we could tick off camping from Martha’s bucket list.
