Daily Writing Prompt Day 3067: life insurance

Femi due to his greed and selfishness for money decided to befirend and marry Ada because he got to hear from his friends around they she was from a wealthy background but unfortunate an orphan whose parents died in a ghastly motor accidents on their way to her graduation ceremony and since she was still in her mourning period and she would be vulnerable and may likely fall for his charm so he played smart and smooth.

What Femi did not know was that the life insurance he was aiming to get due to being married to Ada came with a lot of instructions and he was not going to easily get what he planned to get.

After successfully being able to get Ada to like him and see him as a prospect, he did everything within his power to make sure that the family didn't delay their marriage and constantly told Ada not to let her family decide anything for her as they did not have her best interest at heart. He constantly pushed Ada to never trust her uncles, constantly reminding her that he would be her only family and had her best interests at heart.

When Ada finally told him about her parents' life insurance for her assuming that he didn't know about it and the instructions that came with it, Femi left grumpy and never saw Ada again after that day.
