Excitement registered on the two toddler's faces as they stumbled upon a delightful Easter surprise. Their eyes bewildered with wonders as they gaze into a wicker basket overflowing with colorful, foil-wrapped chocolate eggs and giant, tempting brown ones.
They weren't sure about what they'd find as they went out for the hunt. A short walk around the small garden when Philip noticed a trail and he followed it while Peter did the same, not quite sure where his brother was going.
Just at the corner of the house was a nest with a basket filled with different colors of eggs and a few scattered blue eggs on the nest. Their bewilderment showed how much they admired it. It happened to be a surprise from their nextdoor neighbor, her way of giving the twin a happy Easter celebration to remember, and watching from afar how the twin gazed and touched the eggs with their tiny hands gave her joy. She could bet it was the most beautiful thing they've seen since they started walking through the small garden.
One of the toddlers had fluffy bunny ears, he couldn't wait to unwrap more of the mystery while the other was fascinated with the large brown egg. They smiled, picking out one egg after another. Mrs. Agmoore, who seemed happy watching them play, couldn't wait to tell them an Easter story someday.
