In the small city of Kio, a city surrounded by hills and valleys, there once lived a dragon. Stories of myth and legends had tales of her wonderful deeds 50 years ago when the Hyena fought to reclaim their land. No one who lived now lived at that time, but it became a ritual to accord honor to the dragon which once saved their fathers of old.
Terror still resides in the hearts of people who read the documentaries and saw the havoc of the dragon's anger. The Hyenas wandered around after they were chased by the king of the jungle and found themselves in the land of Kio. The land was green, greener than that which they once lived.
"The city is small, we can invade it and settle here" The Hyena's said to themselves as they launched an attack in their multitude killing both young and old, and they attacked only at night.
The hope of the people started to fade, their strength fainting and they had already decided to flee for safety , until that very night when the dragon showed up. Terror rested in the hearts of the Hyenas as they were caught in the fury of the dragon. The bizarre night suddenly becomes filled with the laughings of hyenas running for their lives. The Hyena never gave up, again they came after a while and again the dragon showed up. Cracking sounds of bones, laughing, and the fury from the dragon's fire enveloped the night. People of Kio woke up to see thousands of Hyena corpses scattered in the land and from that day onward, they never had any threat.
People believed the dragon was a god, others say it was one of their fathers who reincarnated as a dragon. After the great fight, the dragon was never seen again, but that day was marked as an honorable day for celebrating the dragon that once defended their people. Saying goodbye to it was a way of wishing her well.
I saw the twist there 😅.
Freedom for the people at last, all thanks to the dragon. It surely deserves to be honored.
Yeah, it was worthy of such a praise
The dragon was worth celebrating, having saved the people of Kio from the attack of the hyenas.
True

it's sounds a bit too much like AI story telling.
Lol. you can run the AI test if you have to.
It's 100% a story written by me inspired by a story I once read about the hyena and lions fighting over a valley. And since the image looked like a poster of a dragon with people saying farewell to it, I thought of the dragon as the savior and people honoring it for its deed once upon a time
