My Latest Mutation- My Joy ( Freewrite Writing Prompt Day 2843)

Change is constant, change is rapid, sometimes it comes suddenly, other times it evolves. Making it difficult to be a well-prepared event. It just happens sometimes, and so it mutates.

Life mutates, sometimes up, sometimes down, sometimes good and other times bad. Sometimes you are excited, and other times you are sad. It goes on and on.

But my latest mutation is a certificate of merit for completing the Business Analysis training and standing out among participants.

Indeed, that mutation came from a heart of resilience, steady burning of night candles, focus, apt attention to detail, and, importantly, my early morning affirmations.

This mutation was not lazily fetched. It was fetched from struggles to quit and whispers to give up. A weak flesh of tiredness to retire, but a strong urge to ride on. A strong mind and bold fist of the titans, piercing through lecture notes and grabbing worthy reckonings.

My latest mutation arrived through steady and concerted efforts, learning and unlearning, accepting genuine criticisms and an open mindset void of rancour and strife.

This mutation has set a new song for me; I now mingle with the noble, the witty and the gritty. The timbers and the calibers, the highs and the mighties.’

But this latest mutation is not my last and does not signify that I have arrived. Rather, it's signalling the beginning of a new phase in my life, continuous learning and unlearning, upgrading and upskilling. Steady transformation and repositioning myself to attract the best of the best, and most importantly, an end to the question “why me”?
