Hello everyone!!
Have a great and blissful day/night to all.
Here's another movie review, especially for those who love animated films and TV series. It's all about "A Letter to Momo", written and directed by Hiroyuki Okiura.
This is a touching film about a young girl named Momo whose father passed away and left her an unfinished letter that made Momo confused. It troubled her mind with a multitude of unanswered questions as they had a little argument with her father before he passed away.
Days after his father's funeral, Momo's mom decided to move to her hometown, a small island called Shio, and decided that they would stay and live there with her parents.
Later on, Momo encounters three mischievous Yokai (supernatural creatures) in their home at Shio Island. The three Yokai's names are Iwa, Kawa, and Mame. They made Momo feel so scared and so annoyed.
I was scared at first, too, upon watching them, especially Mame, but as the film went on, I later found out how cute and adorable Mame is.
Momo and the Yokai gradually become friends with each other and have some fun adventures that I really like. I am truly entertained, especially the scenes with awesome and stunning scenery.
The film is absolutely an epic roller coaster ride full of emotions with tears and laughter.
My heart goes out to the forgetfulness goblin, too, named Mame. My fear went away as I got to know him in the story. You may find out why when you watch this film. The rest of the characters are all great too, especially the siblings who befriended Momo. It's again a really good film to watch with the family and friends.
I won't narrate this too long because I'm afraid I might spoil it, but rest assured, this is really a must-watch film. It boasts detailed and expressive hand-drawn animation. The story, which is so emotional that it tackles sensitive grief and loss, plus the quirky and endearing yokai, adds a layer of fantasy and humor to Momo's journey, making this story worth watching, too.
So, I highly recommend this to you, and I'm sure you'll enjoy some scenes in this film too, despite Momo's grief. And you'll definitely know and understand the answer to the unfinished letter from his father.
Again, it's another great anime film. So, I hope you will watch it too.
I'll just end my post here and see you around.
Thank you for stopping by and God blessβ¦ ππβ€
This story really caught my attention because of Momo's name, it reminded me of the protagonist of Dan Da Dan and just this story also brings up Yokai elements. It looks like it leaves elements to ponder during character evolution due to her loss, encouraged to have this on my list to watch π
es una buena historia, en el que la familia y espiritus son tu apoyo, excelente post
It is a good story, in which family and spirits are your support, excellent post
