Wow!! This is such an interesting topic, one so deep and strong. It depicts the name of the community and why it was created in the first place, “Real Talk’, We have to be real with this one guys, let’s have it😊
Is Blood Thicker Than Water?
Is blood thicker than water? Yes, blood is thicker than water. Some people might answer this question differently based on their experiences, but based on my experience, I can say that blood is truly thicker than water.
I grew up in a family where love and intentionality were the order of the day and it guided our relationship with one another. We were and still are the perfect embodiment of "You are loved at home" because we were and you can see it radiating all over us.
I’ve been blessed with great friends and I do not hesitate to appreciate and celebrate them whenever I can but my siblings will forever remain my ride or die. This is the one job they get to do for life without pay, sadly they just have to. There is just something about family that feels surreal. How these people are ready to go above and beyond for me is mindblowing.
They helped me not out of obligation or duty but out of genuine love. With them, there is no ulterior motive, no hidden transaction somewhere. With them everthing is pure, fun, and beautiful, I couldn't ask for more guys.
Blood is truly thicker than water. Blood on a fabric will not disappear, it will announce itself, unlike water that becomes invisible ASAP. Some family bonds are way thicker and stronger than anyone or science can describe.
As we go through life, we gradually make friends and some of these friends lose their friendship title and become family. I can tell you that is the highest level of trust and love one can have for an individual without blood ties.
Family, friends turn family, all of them are important as they all play different roles in our lives.
I have a best friend of 15 years and to date, people assume we are siblings. There is absolutely nothing this lady cannot do for me and I can boldly say that I am blessed for the gift of her.
In conclusion, blood can be thicker than water for some people and it might not be the case for others and that's very much okay.
This is a beautiful topic by the Real Talk Community where you are allowed to talk freely and to any length. Do well do join in the fun.

There is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. There are a lot of stories of people talking about how friends have turned family and it is the reason why people sometimes don’t agree with the statement “blood is thicker than water”. You are fortunate to have a family that loves you and even a friend that has been there for you.

It's same case with me, my siblings are my all and all; they're my happy place 💝💞
I love this piece. Thanks for sharing ❣️
Yeah, nobody can live forever. It’s about celebrating everyday and enjoying the little moments. Building friendships and showing genuine love to the ones that I’ve stood by you. Life can be very hard, At the end of the day everyone can choose not to care, So when someone shows up everyday,Family or not, we need to appreciate them.
That’s great! Must be nice. I have a close friend for 11/12 years too. Everyday I wake up,I'm grateful someone can understand me and listen to me even if I’m sometimes spitballing rubbish.
I think I need to do a real talk of my own🙃
