Today I spent some time exploring a very interesting museum in Mexico City, located near the Torre Latinoamericana in the historic center. I’m not completely sure about the name — I think it might be something like the Museo del Pulque y las Pulquerías — but the experience was fascinating.
Inside the museum there were beautiful old illustrations of plants, scientific instruments, glass containers, and historical objects that show how knowledge about nature was studied and recorded in the past. One illustration that caught my attention was a detailed drawing of a pitahaya, reminding me how carefully naturalists documented the plants of Mexico many years ago.
Walking through the exhibits felt like traveling through time. There were antique microscopes, delicate laboratory tools, and old scientific devices that scientists once used to study the natural world. Seeing these objects makes you appreciate how much patience and curiosity it took to discover the knowledge we often take for granted today.
There were also stunning paintings of Mexican landscapes — wide valleys, ancient trees, and peaceful towns. These artworks capture moments of history and nature that feel both distant and familiar at the same time.
To finish the visit, I stepped outside and enjoyed a beautiful view of the city. From there you can see part of the historic center, with its towers, churches, and the vibrant life that fills the streets every day.
Mexico City is truly a place where art, science, and history meet in every corner.

Hoy estuve recorriendo un museo muy interesante en la Ciudad de México, ubicado cerca de la Torre Latinoamericana en el centro histórico. No estoy completamente seguro del nombre — creo que algo como el Museo del Pulque y las Pulquerías — pero la experiencia fue realmente fascinante.
Dentro del museo encontré hermosas ilustraciones antiguas de plantas, instrumentos científicos, frascos de vidrio y objetos históricos que muestran cómo en el pasado se estudiaba y registraba el conocimiento sobre la naturaleza. Una de las ilustraciones que más me llamó la atención fue un dibujo detallado de una pitahaya, que refleja el gran cuidado con el que los naturalistas documentaban las plantas de México hace muchos años.
Recorrer las salas fue como viajar en el tiempo. Había microscopios antiguos, herramientas de laboratorio muy delicadas y aparatos científicos que en su momento ayudaron a investigadores a estudiar el mundo natural. Ver estos objetos hace valorar la paciencia y la curiosidad que se necesitaban para descubrir muchas de las cosas que hoy damos por sentadas.
También había pinturas hermosas de paisajes mexicanos: grandes valles, árboles antiguos y pueblos tranquilos. Estas obras capturan momentos de la naturaleza y de la historia que se sienten lejanos pero al mismo tiempo muy cercanos.
Para cerrar la visita, salí a observar una vista increíble de la ciudad. Desde ahí se puede apreciar parte del Centro Histórico, con sus torres, iglesias y la energía que siempre llena las calles de esta gran capital.
La Ciudad de México es un lugar donde el arte, la ciencia y la historia se encuentran en cada rincón. ✨
