Rainy Day Vs Dry Day

Good day everyone I hope that we are all getting along with what we are doing to better our lives. This is my entry to this week's #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay our very good friend. I am very much delighted to be participating in this weeks edition. It is a privilege to be here today. In the city of Lekki Lagos Nigeria, is a city that does not pray for raining season. I am very much familiar with this area of the State and this is not an exaggeration but a fact that they are not friends with rain in anyway so ever.

In Nigeria and, West Africa as a whole. We have two (2) Seasons and they are

  • Wet Season
  • Dry Season

Wet Season is that time of the year that is equivalent to Winter. Everywhere gets cold and people love the season especially farmers. Their crops tends to grow and everywhere is on the greener part of life. But, this is a very different case in Lekki city that I feel is not well planned as a residence. It is generally almost every part of the Island but Lekki in particular is a different place entirely. A five minutes rain and, everywhere is already flooded. This is the more reason myself and wife avoided living in this part by all means. Despite this unplanned area, houses are still very much overpriced.
